Well not today, but on Saturday I was turning around in a driveway and somehow scraped the ever loving sh!t out of the bottom of my front bumper. I wanna die about it, you can't see it, but I know it's there. I am very very careful and somehow it still happened to me. Trying to keep a car nice and daily driving it does not work out in the end... I just had it in for PDR earlier last week [rant] ahhhh!!!

Yes, sadly it is inevitable if daily driving any car, NO MATTER HOW OCD careful one is about everything.

Even if you park MILES away in a mall lot, with no one anywhere in sight, and on an end spot, that one asshole in a shitty beater Camry will come and park right next to you, as close as they can, and POUND their door into your brand new car out of spite/jealousy, or just to "get to" you for even caring about a new/in perfect shape car (just like the TV commercial of a few years back). [mad]
The always on their phone/oblivious to anything, oversize, new SUV every two to three years on lease driving 'soccer moms' are also infamous for this, but usually they will only get you IF you park much closer in to the entrances.

I am going to have to re-learn how to NOT be affected by this shit all over again, as this is my first new car in almost 20 years. [:(]

^^^Any time I see the name of your town, I am reminded of that Van Morrison song ("Snow In San Anselmo") from that very under-rated album. [wink]

Changed to VMS forged al lugs. Saved 0.77 lbs of rotating unsprung mass. Cleaned up studs and put generous amounts of anti-sieze on before installing by hand and torquing by hand. I've used these in the past on heavier cars without issue, so I have no worries about the FiST.
