Just to make sure this is clear, 2" drop on this car is far too much for the suspension geometry as it would put nearly all the weight on the outside tires when cornering resulting is pretty much having a 2 wheeled car. It is kind of nice to not overly drop a car and optimize the suspension angles while doing so, stock is quite good
Correct I was just testing it, in case anyone asked, as I believe 2" is the max one could drop the car. I personally would never lower my FiST, interesting about the 1/4in lift, though.

I started the Alumalite cargo floor and back wall, aluminum framed, it will be hugely stiffer than any kind of aftermarket brace, which I do not think the car needs in the least unless running full coilovers, which I am not doing. I deleted the rear seat, built in a very secure, strong and low mounted WMI sealed enclosure, battery as well, room left for tools and emergency supplies, will have secure covers out of Alumalite.

This is to provide additional crash protection from flying cargo, WM spraying all over us, etc...the side benefit of the stiffening of the chassis might even be felt, it will weigh very little.

Sound System:
Audison Bit Ten
Alpine 4X100+500
Focal 2 Ways (run direct--use the bit ten for crossover) Expert 165 Flax
Sound deadening
JL W3 in tuned slotted box
(no back speakers, wanted the image in front of me)

Sounds great, one more visit to tweak the Bit Ten--you can adjust everything from phases, delays, 31 band eq....

Weighed the car!
2600 with a half tank of fuel- like exactly- ap was showing 50% fuel level-
Rear seats deleted, false floor gone, spare and stuff out.
Scale is accurate- I weighed 215 at home this morning, and weighed 215 on this scale.

Installed the front Rally Armor mudflaps after work today, need to do the rear tomorrow along with the curt hitch and Cobb exhaust hangers.

With all the rain we've been getting in Houston the last few months, I'm hoping I won't get the dirt like in the picture anymore, plus I think they look pretty cool.

Installed in the AZ heat a Cobb boost control solenoid recommended and bought from Adam, Tune+, overnight delivery was only $10 with OnTrac. I sold the stock controller when I sold the Cyborg so used the EFR unit I had to keep when I sold the EFR turbo but for some reason it was not controlling the WG, that problem seems solved, now have to sort out the slow boost curve.

Adam has been extremely helpful in all this, going well beyond just tuning, helping me sort out with a couple of different tests to try to resolve these issues.

-----------------

Yesterday I finished the tire well conversion with hinged cover over one section and added Ensolite to the front and egg crate accoustical foam to the back of the rear seat delete cargo wall made from aluminum and Alumalite. I need to find carpet to match as close as I can and carpet the front side I put the ensolite on, build up the floor a bit where the seat was and upholster a big bed for the doggies. (95 lbs, each, Akita and an Irish Wolfhound, they have plenty of room)

The tire well houses in separate sections the AEM WMI tank, pump and the gell cell battery which are all sealed up from each other to prevent any sort of issue if the car ever gets hit hard in the rear. A super hard hit might not survive it as nothing I could build would but it is pretty stout, I did not like the idea of WM sprayed all over inside the car so spent a huge amount of time building this setup into the tire well and lowering the things in it so I have plenty of cargo room above.

Approx 40% of the tire well space is for tools, li jump start battery, emergency gear, water, etc, always wise to carry such things in a very highly modified car and securely, all under covers.

Sorry no pics yet, I will take more once finished and show a few, no need to show the construction ones, tools all over, pop rivet shafts, aluminum drill shavings, etc...nobody else is going to do this, I would recommend against it just for the fact it was a huge task far beyond what I expected to do when I started it.

The WMI tank is also the windshield washer tank now so replumbed and rewired it, WMI line and washer fluid line are under the car with the fuel lines for a bit more safety as well. I would now just live with the weight up front and use the washer fluid tank for the WMI, if this body shell ever needs replaced I will go that route for sure.

OR, as I had planned before we sold our house and lift in the garage, stored almost all my tools, I was going to cut the tire well out and build a deeper in front, tappered to the rear, bigger enclosure, for storage of everything and be the base for a really good sized properly designed diffuser. If I would also turn the muffler 90 degrees and gain a few more inches of space in the enclosure and a more balanced and wider diffuser.

This is a FRICKING SICKNESS.

I just ordered some more parts.
I now either have, have ordered, or will pickup (tomorrow) over $1000.00 worth of parts for my FiST not yet installed.

The bad thing is that I either do NOT have the ability or the ambition to the install these darn things.
Non of the things are really hard to do mostly I just don't feel like it or it is just too darn HOT outside to do the work.

I just can't stop buying the stuff.
