So I have a dilemma... I've had second gear popped out a few times on track and only on one specific tight hairpin corner. Involves high speed braking from 150-160km/h to 60km/h, whenever I get back on the gas to exit the corner, the gear just pops out into neutral leaving me free revving. Any idea what's causing this? No problems on street or can't reproduce it in any other situations.
Transmission fluid has been changed at 20,000km and 50,000km. Car is currently 52,000km. One of the things I've noticed is that with engine running, gear in neutral and clutch out. You could push the lever into each gear a little bit like a little "play". All gears have the same amount of "play" except second. Second has the largest play (goes in the slot further than all the gears when clutched out). Does this mean anything?
I took out my Mountune quick shift adapter yesterday, same issue. The only thing I have left is the Boomba shift lever and their bushings. Doubtful that they'll affect anything.
Thanks for any feedback.
