FIST stock turbo vs. Abarth

I've seen the dyno's of the Cyborg turbo. It's a decent solution for those that are looking to shift their powerband, but it's not what I'm talking about. A right-sized twin-scroll would widen the power band, not just move it.

Yeah, it does shift the powerband a little to the right, but it also widens it. Maybe just not as much as you're looking for. There's been talk of a twin scroll and I believe Peron was once working on kit. Unless you've got the resources to make it happen, were at the mercy of the market...and space available near the firewall.

Yeah the Abarths turbo was at the front of engine that made it way easy for wastegate adjustment etc.

Small world, I also had an Abarth and I recall there was a gentleman modifying the stock turbo to enhance the top end while not hurting the quick spool down low. From an outsider there seems to be a great many big turbo options but a mild upgrade would probably fit the car nicely without loosing the nice low end and mid range. I for one also don't want to ruin the smog worthiness...its just not worth it in my book.
