Got my McGuard wheel locks and McGuard lug nuts on in black.
And went on a drive in this great sunny day.
Looks a lot better than chrome lug nuts. Just need something to work as a center caps.

Drove the crap out of it :)

Took it on a 275 mile door to door back road drive today.

Other then the brakes getting a little too hot after 80% of the amazing 160 mile, the car performed great - I recently added the Pierce 2 pt, torsion brace and strut brace, and I wish I'd done the route before I installed them to see the difference the parts made, but the car didn't miss a beat.

The Federal 595RS-Rs performed awesome. I have them aired up at 32.5F/30rear in an attempt to soften the ride a little, and it's definitely not as jarring over some of the rough stuff.

I replaced the cracked coolant overflow hose on my '14.

The replacement Ford sells is all molded rubber rather than the half plastic original so I am confident that it will last until the rubber rots away. Much better.

The original broke when I replaced a broken motor mount. If anyone breaks a mount and has the 1/2 plastic hose, order the coolant overflow hose with the mount. It is cheap and better than driving with a cracked hose.

Removed the stock turbo, which was surprisingly easy. And opened up my front grill for my new race IC and crash beam, which wasn't difficult, just tedious. Now I just wait for brown Santa to bring me my DHM goodies.

Installed my Mountune Splitter today took maybe 45 mins with plenty of BSing. Here's a tip if you don't want to enlarge the hole in your crash beam pick up the rivnut tool from harbor freight it's the perfect size.

I already installed the knob which I like and might do the plate and bushings tomorrow. How do you like the new setup?

I like it very much. Feels a lot cleaner. Shorter throws and takes the slop out of stock setup. Gives you a much more connected feel to driving. If you do the plate it is worth it to do the the bushings as well.

Summer detail

Already washed the car this week and did not have all that much time today. But I did the winter erase detail. Which means taking the wheels off and cleaning the wheel wells of all the sand and dirt, cleaning the engine and the interior. So nice.
