Nothing more disappointing than putting on a mod and not liking it.

Fwiw I have catless dp with stock exhaust and it's really mellow.
Notice any hp gains with just DP. Adam from Tune+says you will lose HP with a Downpipe on stock turbo which is why I haven't put it on yet. Adam is a knowledgable guy so I'm taking him at his word. Just funny that Cobb and mountune would come out with these stages and all recommend going with a DOwnpipe on the stock Turbo and claiming HP increases although small. Not to go off topic. Just curious.

I can't really tell if there was any gains since I did it all at once and went to s3 tune. If I had to do it again probably wouldn't buy it.

3" is too big, you will DRONE period. For just about any single exhaust.

Maybe on these cars but not on my subie or 1st gen eclipse. Maybe it's due to the small motor not putting out enough air at all times.

Sure 2 liter and bigger inline 4s but not the FISt or Abarth. I have owned both. 3" is absolute overkill

Greddy TI-C on my 07 Si Sedan droned above 3500 RPM's or so. With no torque, it meant 24/7 drone.
Cobb turbo-back on my friends 2012 Mazdaspeed 3 droned at 3k or so, wasnt as bad but noticeable.

Buddy Club spec II full exhaust on my 96 Civic with a 99 B16A2 didnt drone at all. Becuase it tore out your eardrums from idle to 9,500 RPM fuel cut. Thats the car I miss the most [bawling]

I don't mind a loud exhaust note of it sounds good. Drone o do mind. It's only between 2500-3300 RPM's but that's too much for me with my current status as a daddy and husband. It's annoying to me but unbearable to my wife and kid.

No wife or kid, i had that car when i was 20. I could do pulls to the limiter and be heard about 2 miles away in the small town I lived in, getting on the freeway on ramp

Yeah, I was never a fan of Buddy Club exhausts. I preferred Apexi, TAnabe and DC sports exhausts. Don't like the loud obnoxious exhausts. Like the throaty deep sound as opposed to raspy and loud. No offense, just my .02

No worries my civic before that had an Apex'i WS2 which was whisper quiet. If its a daily it needs to be civilized but if its a fun/weekend/track car im fine with it super loud. No offense taken at all!

Now that I've joined NASA (racing league not space shuttles ), I may keep it since no one seems to want to buy it.
