What did you do to your Fiesta ST today ?

Forgot to take picks, just pulled off the very bent 2 point brace/rear undertray/lower duct mount as well as splitter and full undertray after hitting something I could not avoid.

I have to build a new part and repair the undertray, designed as a disposable part made from Alumalite, which is a fraction of the cost of CF, super low weight and very stiff, luckily is has a minor bend in it.

The 2 point...was made from scrap metal but a bit of work into it.

My car looks so naked without the splitter!

I hate certain sounds in a car...especially the hollow plastic container sounds. Therefore, I added 1 lbs. of sound insulation to each door, a little to the dash, glovebox, and center armrest. Removed the rear headrests, random plastic, and cargo cover that annoyed me. Yeah, falling rain for a week makes me do nutty things. If this keeps up, I'm dropping headliner and putting in more sound stuff.

I installed my boomba shifter and shifter base bushing. The throw is shorter but unlike other short shifters in other cars it didn't take any getting used to. I like it. Next I will be installing the fswerks Trans adapter with my boomba Trans cable bracket bushings.

If all would have gone smoothly it would have taken maybe 45 minutes. I got the shifter out in about 15 minutes. Got the shifter installed in the base in about 15 and got the base and most of the interior back in about 10 minutes.... but then I ran into a problem. The lockout was getting stuck. After about an hour of messing with it I got the dermal out with a sanding wheel and bored it out a little bit. The problem was it was too tight. No matter how much lithium grease used it would not slide easily. After I boared it out everything was perfect. If you're installing the shifter Bass bushings it helps if you wrap a little bit of Teflon tape or something similar around the bottom half so that it fits snugly in the shifter bass and doesn't fall out when you try and install it.

That doesn't sound right. Should drop a comment in the boomba SS thread so they can comment on that and maybe help others who install in future.

I installed the turbo smart compact shorty dual bov today. My initial impressions are it sounds great and all my part throttle boost surges are gone. All in all its a great mod for drivability and it sounds really good too!

I was debating getting one in the spring, how was the install? All the videos make it look so easy, I doubt it's easy to get to without a lift.

With a jack it isn't to bad. Honestly it took me all of an hour to install it taking my time.

I hit something in the road, not a big deal, better to replace a free part than trash the undertray and splitter which I thought from the sound I had done

Im with youbut the st one looked so plain. This one is much nicer plus i figure there is st on the steering, the matts, the dead pedal, the seats, im sure i wont think its a regular fiesta
Mind you with a practiced hand and some clear red cellophane i could make the st red in fiesta.
