quick question.. has anyone or any of you guys taken the STOCK down pipe and removed the STOCK cat, then put the STOCK down pipe back. would this work?
Haven't done it on this car, but I used it as a solution on a previous car when the flex pipe kept cracking (gotta love GM's cheap thin accordian style of flex pipe...). Might be cheaper if you either can weld or know someone who does it cheap, but then you have no way to return to stock without a rather expensive purchase.

I opened up my wiper cowl for the last time today lol. I also heat wrapped my 2j intake, wrapped all the area around the air filter in DEI silver heat resistant matting, and installed my K&N Dry shield. (Bring on the Heat and the Rain) I also redadjusted the intake so it finally stopped rubbing and driving me nuts!!!

Installed some H&R 5mm spacers in the rear. My et42 Sparcos needed to look a little more plump in the rear and this mod definitely helped the look.

Dynamat Dynaliner, good stuff, nuts price....Look into RAAMmat and Ensolite the next time, used together better results, far less costly, tens of thousands of happy campers around the world have done this:)

Also remove the trim around the rear qtr panels, cabin vents are there, much noise comes in through them.
Do not seal the vents, just deaden well in the area.

Cowl intake? Any brand of mat with a reflective surface alone will do little good at all, the area is solid as it is, you need Ensolite foam to make the most difference.

Looks good ma. How you liking the stage 3? I'm about to go stage 1 to stage 2, just adding an intercooler.
I went the Cobb stage 3 route with upgraded Intercooler (ATP), Intake (Mountune), Downpipe (CP-e Catless), Catback (Cobb), RMM (Cobb) pretty early on and ran the Cobb OTS maps for awhile.
I was pleased but not blown away or anything. Decided to go for a custom tune and was much happier with the performance. Later I got an e30 retune and that was a very nice update as well.
Saving up now for an ATP turbo kit [emoji1]

Cool. I have the Cobb intake and exhaust and plan on going to Cobb intercooler this summer. Then downpipe afterwards obviously. I'll be doing a custom tune from Randy after all that hopefully.

And quick question, do you have to do anything extra with the "e" fuel tunes? Or just ran different gas? I don't quite understand the "e" fuel concept quite yet.

You just need to find a fuel station with an e85 pump and mix it with their premium gas to a specific ratio when ever you add fuel.

It is a good thing that your car will be fast.
I wouldn't want to be too close.

Did you bring any Marshmallows?
