Picked up my car from the trim shop from getting the full paint protective film done. The shop I went to just did a super job. I got the full front bumper done 3/4 of the hood and leading edge of the front fenders, A pillars and front edge of roof and mirror backs. What was really good is that they did the full rocker panel trim all the way back. They removed the Ford applied protective film from the back part of the rocker panel trim so they could apply one continuous piece that covers the trim piece below the doors 100%. They also did the triangular piece of trim on the rear bumper just behind the rear wheels. Did not ask for that, they just did it. They also did the top of the rear bumper where the hatch opens to protect this area from loading cargo in and out.
I am not putting on fender flaps as I simply hate how they look. I am not winter driving this car, so the 3M film should give me the protection I need.
So other than wrapping the car completely in bubble wrap, my paint now stands a fighting chance.
If you are in the Edmonton, Alberta area, it was Car Pretty where I got this done. Have had them do all my cars over the last 10 years and their work is nothing short of exceptional.
