Picked up my car from the trim shop from getting the full paint protective film done. The shop I went to just did a super job. I got the full front bumper done 3/4 of the hood and leading edge of the front fenders, A pillars and front edge of roof and mirror backs. What was really good is that they did the full rocker panel trim all the way back. They removed the Ford applied protective film from the back part of the rocker panel trim so they could apply one continuous piece that covers the trim piece below the doors 100%. They also did the triangular piece of trim on the rear bumper just behind the rear wheels. Did not ask for that, they just did it. They also did the top of the rear bumper where the hatch opens to protect this area from loading cargo in and out.

I am not putting on fender flaps as I simply hate how they look. I am not winter driving this car, so the 3M film should give me the protection I need.

So other than wrapping the car completely in bubble wrap, my paint now stands a fighting chance.

If you are in the Edmonton, Alberta area, it was Car Pretty where I got this done. Have had them do all my cars over the last 10 years and their work is nothing short of exceptional.

Installed the FSwerks Short Shift kit and put it to 25%. Not sure I noticed a difference in the throw, but then again I installed the thing after only 2 weeks of owning the car.

Next up, Cobb CBE, intake and accessport.

Unsolicited advice: Skip these 2 for now and get the FMIC, drop in filter* and RMM* (*optional) instead. You'd be at OTS Stage 2 from the get go and you'll actually feel the difference performance wise.

Car servant lol [emoji14] I am one of the other types who's less caring. That said I'm looking forward to getting some darker wheels.
I can serve the car with a quick wheels wash a few times a week for the amount of smiles it gives me the rest of the week. I owe her that much.

I'm smiling with you haha. I still enjoy my dirty FiST lol. These wheels are high maintenance to keep clean that's for sure.

^ This. Despite being around for as long as it has, I can't recall a single instance of seeing any logs of its performance.

I don't have a log but I can say the temps greatly improved with the mountune fmic. Temps now stay within a 10 degree range vs the stock which was in the 20 degree range. The flow increase is supposed to be much better and the reason why you can use the stage 2 maps with it, but it's not something you can monitor on the AP

You can't monitor the flow, but you can log the charge temps contrasted against ambient temp, intake temp, and rpm. That's all we compare in order to gauge what FMIC's are the most effective.

I don't have any before logs... Because I'm new to this / lazy / impatient.
If that's all you need to get an idea of how effective the FMIC is, I can certainly take some logs! It's quite hot here now, all three were over 100 for a while on my way home today.
