I f******* went to fast leaving work and scratched the bottom front bumper. You can't see it but now I know it's there. So annoying.

Might go to Ford and see how much it would be for them just to repaint them. Don't need a new bumper, just repainted; so maybe it won't be TOO much.

Ha, don't feel too bad. I've been trying to really take it easy on my car. This week I downshifted a little too far to wiggle into a spot in traffic since everyone was being an asshole on the road. (Still getting used to that 6th gear, lol) and ended up bouncing off the rev limiter in 3rd for a few seconds at 1800 miles on the car. Boy was I upset that whole ride home.

Shit happens. At least you care enough to want to get it repainted. Good luck! [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji41]

Thanks. Like I said you can't even see it unless you get under the car and look. There's a few small things I want to get estimated also anyway.

If you want to really enjoy driving the car just live with some battle scars. It is going to happen even if you baby it all the time, door dings, rock chips, road hazards, sheat just happens. I decided long ago to just drive my cars and spend less time dealing with little issues, in the end, driving and modding, more fun than sweating little stuff that just happens no matter what.

I have seen far to many babied cars sold, traded, crashed, garage queened......never really used as cars, why I sold the highly modded low mileage Vette I built up, it just sat parked most all the time taking up space, it was no longer a real car.

I agree but I'm more pissed at myself because I leave slow out of work everyday because I know the little dip is there. And today I thought I was going slow enough but apparently not. Haha. That's why I'm more upset about it; I know better.

I have done many things like that, just get distracted, etc......twp years ago I was using a step stool to work under the hood of my then new $60k Dually and a screw was loose and scratched the fender......at least not clear through as not rusted but no way to fix it unless repaint the whole area and hope the color is right, I just got used to it.

Re-did the water/meth pumping to feed the pump.

Removed my 2J race mount and installed a re-enforced stock mount (using big roll pins and adhesive silicone ).

What did you use? If you don't mind.
Started with a dremel. I realized that the plastic was very thin so I used a set of wire cutters and snipped them off. I sanded them down and smoothed it out with the dremel. Used a but of paint on a brush to hide the marks and the cleaned and waxed. Took about 30 minutes.

Finally got my summer tires on. Comp-2s 195/55/15 on stock suspension. Also installed 2nd batch pedal spacer, DHM sound delete, and PierceMotorSports 2pt brace. Next will be to get some black Spine lugs, those chrome ones look terrible.

I've heard good things about the tire and wanted to try them. And the wheels are 6.5 wide so I didn't think there'd be that much of a difference.

And tirerack was giving rebate cards on all BFGoodrich tires. Ha. I'll definitely go wider next set. I'm just deciding on which wheels and how wide to go, wheel wise. Haven't decided that. I sold my stockers and are just keeping the 15s and just swapping tires for now. Trying to save money to put toward my next set now.

has anyone removed there rear wind shield wiper yet, IMO i think it looks alot cleaner. Pics and how to plz?
I wouldn't do it unless you have the Boomba wing risers installed. Water accumulates in the back window like a mofo. There's just not enough windflow back there to move it.
