I have driven with mine for about a month and last week and this week there were torrential downpours and I had no issues.

This is what a 4th gear run looked like, the airflow increase is worth a good amount of hp.

I will be releasing more data later, I am just a little busy right now. This should give you an idea of what the intake can do.

Anyway we can get a longer pull...both starting at the same rpm?

Well if you wanna get technical it will sometimes as little as a cup....or as much as deciding to drive your vehicle and go water fijording through a river. Keep in mind that you can indeed utilize water to clean intake build up just like you would say a carb cleaner to clean it up. What do you think meth injection is? People use meth injection to keep the in coming air charge temp down and allow the air to be more dense to build more power. If you ever get a chance to see and intake that uses meth injection it is rather clean Vs. A non meth injection vehicle that's for DAM sure.

All the dozens of vehicles I have had ran better in the rain for good reason:)

Funny thing is they always seemed to ride better, run better, less rattles, etc, when they were clean instead of dirty as well, hmmmmm?

We can attribute the last sentence to the placebo effect or is it the quantum effect;)

Are we getting any discounts on these?
SITH racing is running a group buy. If you sign up there will be discounts, it just may take a little bit longer until the list is fully compiled with enough participants since the product was just released.

You own a gt500...support the vendor and just buy it from velossatech if they have it available. I did....[rockon]

I would buy from the vendor which is why i why asking to see if this have any discounts going on right now.

I think he is saying that it doesn't seem like 20 or 30 more bucks would hurt your wallet.

I bought a big mouth full price, didn't mind being one of the Guinea pigs.

He's inferring you're financially stable enough a 10% discount on a $175 item won't make a difference.

However I've been researching that year Shelby and they're in the low 30's now so it's not actually as spendy as he's assuming.

I buy most of my parts on sale since most vendors have at least two good sales during the year. I don't mind waiting to save a few bucks. So I don't blame ya.

I also was a guinea pig and paid full price and I Don't own a Gt500...but I do Roll a Typhoon. ...which is the biggest maitenance whore of all time and I just buy parts and don't bat an eye. You have to pay to play as I am always told....If you don't want to pay then you cannot play. Ya get me....I understand if you're frugal, and I'm not saying you are rich for owning one. It just seems to me some people are always trying to squeeze out a couple more dollars out of a company who put their heart into a product.

There shouldn't be anything wrong with trying to save money on a purchase...that's just being fiscally responsible.
