This looks so good. I was going to do red for my black 16 FiST.

Interesting question that I haven't seen brought up. Have you noticed and change in engine sound with this installed? I doubt it would change it much if any, but I'm curious either way.
I've noticed ever so slight change in the induction noise. Not really louder just more. Then again I have catless 3in turbo back exhaust so it's pretty loud already. All I know is that the combo of induction and the catless make the car sound absolutely amazing. To the casual ear, it sounds (and smells) like a racecar, which is a plus in my book! It sounds like a very powerful and healthy engine, I love it.

I am getting up to Hollywood from Miami shortly for final testing and data analysis!

mercdank..really looking forward to see your results soon!

Something to keep in mind while logging...

Make sure you also record outside ambient temp on the instrument cluster....The AAT (ambient air temp) logged and captured from the ECU is actually inferred and not tied directly to a temp sensor and tends to not read accurately...

I asked Braden (Cobb’s Calibration Engineer) awhile ago about the differences typically seen between Ambient (AAT) readings logged through AP verses "outside" temps which appears inside on the cluster..

"The Fiesta ST does not have an actual AAT sensor, so it relies on the ECU to "infer" temperature via algorithms in place that watch ECT, IAT, CAT, and VSS. There are setting in the ECU to infer this temperature at faster rates with less requirements, but typically it is still grossly inaccurate for anything in need of compensation.

To top this, the Fiesta ST instrument panel is not connected to the ECU along the same CANbus stream like the Focus ST. This means the inferred temperature is not shared with the IPC, and it derives a value on its own. - Braden"

How close of a color match is the green color to Envy Green (the snot color)?

Furthermore, if it's not close enough, can the colored piece be easily painted, or is it rubber?

i have two types of green, a darker green and a nice bright green.

Here is a picture of the bright green.

The dark green looks like forest green.

It can be easily painted with spray paint if you wish.

This is made to fit with the stock airbox setup....it's why I ordered it. The radiator shroud needs to be trimmed some from what I have gathered....I hope mine is here by this weekend so I can do all my work at once. I'll try and do a install with pictures if I remember and if no one else does.
