I'm... intrigued, but not quite interested, yet. @RAMMAudio did 15x9 ET36s with some rear camber, front spacers, and rolling and pulling. This leads me to believe that 17x9 ET45s will fit with (much) less work in the back, a larger spacer in the front, and rolling (and maybe some pulling). If these flares allow us to run 10" wheels without a crazy low offset that ruins handling then I might be interested, but Rick is already spacing 9" ET36s on the front which means that a 10" wheel is going to need at least an effective ~ ET23. Time to head over to http://www.racingaspirations.com to make sure that we're not missing the big picture.

Also, I've got to see uninstalled and installed pictures of the flares before I'd place an order. No offense intended, but this thread has been a little too bumpy for me to plop down $500 and cross my fingers that I won't be disappointed when I open the boxes.

hi guys

just waiting for the first shipment to come in. i will get photos at that time and find a local FiST to mock up the flares with and take some more photos for everyone.

I completely understand everyones reservations about buying stuff blind (i'm the same way). thats why other than some slow updates (thanks to manufacturer lagging), I haven't really pushed a purchase buy or anything. Just a few teasers here and there to show that I've been having a factory work on them.

As soon as the products come in i will definitely update everyone.

Mike

Oh nice, I've lived in Azusa and Glendora all my life. I have an aunt in law in Vegas too. So I'm out there occasionally.

I'm interested in the flares still and glad they are still in the works! If the final fitment and attachment process look good I could work with you for fitment and pics etc.

I'm scheduled to work Thursday for about 7 days straight so it would be rough if not impossible during that, but if you can make it over today or tomorrow then I can be available and we can do the fitment and pics in my garage. Bring lots of that blue tape! Haha

Shipment is here and we did mock test fitting today. Thank you to Anthony for volunteering your car for the mock up. Can't wait to see when you're car is done. =)

everything fits great. once the flares are bolting the pieces down, it would snug up pretty well. I personally would use a thin gasket (side skirt trim like on oem side skirts for say toyotas) between the flares and the body of the car to reduce any noise from vibration. on my older cars that ive had fender flares that were not molded to be one piece, this would prevent a squeak noise from fiberglass touching the metal, then vibrating at high speeds. They fit well w/o the liner method, but that's what i've always done. On my project teal fiesta i did the thin gasket method.

overall Anthony liked how it looks on his car. I did not fully install the flares on his car as he's not ready to cut up his car yet lol. but just on the mock up, everything looks great. Let me know thoughts, opinons, questions, etc. thanks!

have 9 sets left one already sold yesterday =)
