I know Dave. When I opened my present up, I was really happy with it. Then I thought, "I don't know how much she spent on this but Dave had a nice one up for sale for $275". But she got me the hero 1 which by comparison is very cheap. We talked about buying your and returning this one, but the $150 to $275 was close to double. Your is a better deal of course, but when you don't have $300 to spend on a camera, the $150 will do pretty nicely i think, lol.

There is a huge amount of acoustical energy in loud exhausts and it can come into the car from nearly everywhere including the glass to a degree so it is a very serious issue to deal with if you want to make it quieter. Fortunately there are a few companies that actually engineer their exhaust systems and Cobb is probably the best I have even owned. Usually I DIY mine but if buying one I would of waited for theirs.

Heard some of those insanely loud Subbies running around? My highly modded FXT was perfect, no resonance, great power, thanks to Cobb.

I do love loud exhausts, don't get me wrong. My '10 WRX that I traded in was running full 3" all the way back...it was LOUD, and sounded fantastic. People could hear that car coming from literally a mile away. It wasn't raspy either, just had that famous rumble with the perfect amount of throat. I do miss how that car sounded, but the Fiesta ST is, IMO, way more fun even if it's not as fast in a straight line.

I like to hear myself think and the audio when I want to play it at less than ear bleed loud....but more so, I like being more stealthy, more fun to get to haul ass and not get busted to me by not announcing to everyone around what I am doing

I used to drive a totally gutted 510 for years when I was much younger, gravel roads included, by the time I was 30 or so, 32 years ago, I have not had a loud exhaust even on Vettes, better for sure, make my own most of the time...never loud.

Snow + city traffic = pissed off FiST driver, lol. I hate rush hour traffic...especially with snow. I used to live in Minnesota btw. I can't make that claim in Florida, though we did have a flurry or two today, lol
