I love the look so I started a thread about modifying the stock wing to increase downforce, I would use these in my testing for sure:)

Installed my boomba wing risers :)

Looks awesome - even more excited for my set.

Today, I dropped my car off to have a limo tint band placed at the top of my windshield. Decided I wanted it. December 23 I drop the car off to have the mountune short shift kit installed. Will install the mountune high flow induction hose in the new year, along with Boomba's shifter bushings.

Drove mine into a ticket for 69mph in a 60mph zone ( actual speed he claimed was 80mph, but I think it was more like 78mph, so I'm still a bad kitty ).

I really like the looks very concerned with aerodynamics, that is why I am buying one or two stock wings and going to sand one smooth on top and use some ABS sheet to make a cover going all the way to the front edge of the hatch door and to the rear of the wing to cover all the holes. Then I will test a wicker bill, I have a way to make an adjustable or different length ones to test.

The way it is now with just the risers, I would be concerned with high speed stability and or loss of fuel mileage.

But I do really like the look of the wing being taller:)

Took my headlights out and put in Phillips diamond vision bulbs. Not sure I put my headlights back in right because the one sticks out a little further than the other but all the screws lined up and they piped back in ok. Also got my forum stickers!

I almost didn't even look at the wing, lol. That's a damn good looking car. I wanted a white car and settled for silver, but that looks really good.

Hey Rick....I'm not sure if you got a chance to see this...But Boomba did attempt to demonstrate stability by mounting a camera on the roof pointed towards the FiST spoiler mounted on risers while traveling at hwy speeds...At least from what I can tell from the video it does appear fairly stable and I would think any impact to mileage would be negligible...

It feels fine at 100 mph, lol. I also didn't notice any lose in mileage in my 50 mile trek today. The only thing I'm concern with are the two large holes that the brake light wiring and window washer hose run through. I plan on making a couple of semi sealed plugs for them to keep most of the rain and bugs/ debris out of them.

Thanks for the feedback on this:)

I am more concerned with going all out nuts on a road course, I hit 130 at MMP at least 80 times in two days and I have more power now as well as was taking one long sweeper at over 100 MPH, I cannot take a chance on things just not being right.

the wing is not a true wing, more a spoiler and not designed to be in the air that way, by sealing it up it makes it into a bigger spoiler, by cutting out the middle and putting in a real wing element, it becomes a real wing, etc.......

The BR kit move it up into the air more so if I can find a narrow but deep cord wing element I could put in the middle, it could really work out great. It would have to have a long cord though(front to rear length) as so short in width it would need it to be of much use.

When on track I am pushing my car to the absolute limits all the time so I have to be very careful about my mods.

I still really like the way it looks no matter what the results may bring though:)

Yeah, I does make a lot more difference in your case. For me, I usually stay under 85, the 100 mph was just to see how the risers feel and to make sure that the wing wasn't going to break off.
