I had the opportunity to try again this afternoon and still could not replicate it with either the brake pedal or resume button.
I'll show you this afternoon on my commute back to work. Stand by.

Little bit of an annoying "glitch" maybe or oversight with the new update. Previously if you pressed the resume button with cruise control OFF the tach would flip to 1 or 2 indicating your map slot. It wouldn't do this when cruise was ON. However now since update, if you have cruise ON and hit your brake or disengage it then press "Resume" to resume the speed you had set the tach flips to your map slot every single time. Quite distracting and annoying especially doing highway driving at night now that it's dark so fast

I'll get this info over to Braden and we can do some testing on my car to make sure it works like it should!

......COBB might consider at least bringing back a highlighting feature to ATR to show changes in the future...
They did add in auto-highlighting with the "follow-on" update. The Compare tab is gone, but when you open a map and make any change, that folder and selection will switch to BOLD so you can review the changes before saving. After saving all bold goes away. You can't do the actual Compare by opening two maps in the same window that was present earlier. Better, but not as good as Compare.

Yes, I saw that...Still would love to see map compare feature return...Found it very helpful ...

For anyone not familiar with this "compare" feature we've been talking about which now only available on AccessTuner Pro here is a description / write-up of this feature from COBB...

"Accesstuner Pro Map Comparison tools allows COBB Protuners to compare base calibration files back to stock or other base map files."

I haven't updated my FiST ATR.

My FoST ATR hadn't gotten updated with the compare feature when it was available, so when I finally updated it I still didn't have it.

Issue has been diagnosed, replicated, and resolved. We'll be incorporating the fix for this bug in the next major release.

Cheers,
-Braden @ COBB

Hey Braden, when is the "next major release"? The issue is a real PITA when on the highway when using the cruise control a lot.

I experienced this today.... it was a 'heh, there it is' moment, but that's about it. Cruise control worked just fine, so its not a dire bug for me.

I kinda like it being a quick check of what map slot i'm in. I use the cruise control a lot, and am always afraid I somehow accidently switched map slots.

I've accidentally switched it twice since the latest update and didn't realize until I stepped on the accelerator and had no power. I'm not a fan.

My wife also has changed it accidentally since the update. She said she is scared to use the cruise control now, lol.

I've tried, and tried again to figure out how to intentionally swap maps while driving. Not because I want to do it, but wanna try to avoid doing it. Should add some sort of lock feature. So that people like me that have no intention of map swapping can't accidently do it.

The only thing that has to be done to avoid switching while driving is to not try and increase/decrease cruise speed immediately following hitting the cancel/resume button, and even then you only have a 50/50 chance of swapping off your map (unless you have a tune with more than two maps). It's not exactly hard.

I've never accidentally switched a map, but I turned off the "rolling map switch" feature. In order for a map to be switched I have to be at a complete stop and that's when I'll check once in a while to see that it's on the correct map especially when I'm running on ethanol.

sorry for the dumb question. But i was trying out the launch control. i pressed the "on" bottom and press the clutch pedal and put it in first. then mash my foot all the way down on the GO FAST pedal, the RPM will hold at 2500rpm. i am trying to figure out how people can hold it at 4000rpm.

second question is how to do the burnout mode?
i dont have the access tuner race software so i never know what comes with the update and the OTS maps

thanks in advance

I updated my access port a week or so ago, and now the auto on and off does not work any more, is there a feature to turn it on and off? or did they disable that in the update? Anyone else experience this?

Not sure if you already checked this...But go to "Setup" on your AP and check to make sure "Auto On / Off" is turned back on....Just for reference mine has been working fine and I have latest AP updates downloaded....
