Installed Boomba transmission bracket bushings, took longer then expected but the shift feels great! Definitely worth the elbow grease!

I worked on the Mishimoto make it fit radiator install, rerouted my real CAI from under the headlight to take out the tight bend so now it goes under the light but next to the radiator, not to close to get to hot though and will be insulated, found out how to remove the stock water to oil cooler so far more room to change the filter and installed one with twice the volume so it filters better, better flow, more oil capacity, less fittings needed for the oil cooler I have in the grill...

Now time to clean up and head to Sundance Resort here in Utah for Thanksgiving buffet, mmmmmmmm, they use a lot of orgainic, grass fed, free range, and do it very very well

How do you take off the stock water to oil cooler, Rick.

I had it by passed for months now, I could not get a good angle to peer inside before but with the radiator out it was pretty easy, a 12mm allen socket, has to reach about 1.25 inch or a bit less, regular threads.

To bypass it you will need to use a fitting on the water line going to the left where there is a Y at the end, I used a brass Pex fitting as thin wall and low weight an clamps.

On the drivers side it fits the hose connector that goes to the heater.

At first I had a pretty long section of hose that crossed over the intake tube so heat wrapped it.

Yesterday I found I could pull the spring retaining clip a the Y, pull off the Y, very easy to do, pull the hoses, trim off locating tabs on the engine side part, flip it 180 and have a much shorter run to the heater hose, much cleaner that way. I saved about 3lbs total weight.

There is one part you need to get, I used a flare to flare brass fitting, to hold the Mocal plate to the block and provide threads for the filter. Problem was the fitting had a rather small hole so I had to drill it out which took awhile.

I am looking for a steel fitting like the stock unit that has a bigger hole and a bit longer to get more thread engagement, what I have is probably fine but I like to be sure nothing can come loose out on track or anywhere as that could be catastrophic to say the least!

Or go to Home Depot and get garage door weatherstripping for $8.00 and some 3M doublestick tape for $5.00. FYI comes off at high speeds, so don't do over 100 mph.

Damn, won't work for me, lol. Seems kinda scary though, a strip of garage door weatherstripping flying off and hitting another car or pedestrian at 100.

I put two coats of the Meguairs Ultimate Liquid Wax. Easy application and my ST was super shiny! Highly recommended!

I was really impressed how the Rokblokz mud flaps arrived. Good quality with good directions & the parts well labeled. If you watch the installation video on YouTube, they show the install w/o taking off the front wheels. However I would recommend taking them off. Makes it so much easier.

Team O'Neil Rally School let me use their garage to winterize my ST. I forgot how dirty I get working on my car at at rally shop!

Sound symposer delete using the freeze plug method. Installed mine on top of the Black Box. I didn't like the idea of stuff possibly getting sucked into the engine under vacuum. I had a weird buzzing sound coming from the sound doohickey at low RPM after installing my Cobb DP to my stock exhaust. The car is now quieter than stock, believe it or not.

Installed my boomba bov spacer finally. I love it. It's not as loud as people made me think. It's audible, but it's not gonna interrupt conversations. I have mine mated to a k&n intake. I love it.

Did you change out the studs without removing the hub from the knuckle?

Yes, you do NOT need to remove the hubs, front or rear.
As you can see by the photo, I do have the front stone guards removed.
I am not 100% sure this is required as mine were already off but they do come off easily if needed.
The rear stone guards were not removed.
