LOL my bad! x39 that next level ish that's not even out yet :)
Soon, soon. :-D

I had Randy and got a few modifications and decided to give Adam a chance and am very happy with his service. He goes out of his way to explain technical details and give realistic expectations on different build options for your car. My only complaint is he sometimes overlooks questions in emails and I have to ask him a second time. But when you get a reply sometimes within the hour this is hardly something to be concerned by.

As for the tune Adam's is much smoother throughout without the part throttle surging I was experiencing on Randy's tune. Adam's drives like it is stock but when you step on it, his pulls much harder.
Thank you for the feedback, I sometimes have a bad habit of replying to emails while on the road. Sometimes I miss questions because I'm bouncing down the highway in the passenger seat. So, it can be hard to read sometimes lol.

I too recently have started working with adam and I'm on the second revision of my 93oct tune. The accelerator pedal position, engine rpm, and boost pressure seem way more correlated than the stock tune and the cobb ots. The turbo seems to wind back as rpms grow in an everyday driving scenario which is gloriously smooth compared to the other tunes I mentioned. The power feels great lol Soo much more power than the ots maps from whatever to redline. My timing is much more consistent and boost is BOOST lol unlike with the ots. Not slamming the ots cause they opened my eyes to what a tune can do and I'm still new to the whole thing. But a custom tune is awesome and I'm super happy so far. Also, very quick to respond and responded to an email I sent asking questions before I even made the purchase. Lifetime tune+ customer here. Cant wait for the E30.
Thank you!

I have sent you an email because I have suffered 4 strokes since I purchased your tune. I recently paid someone to install the plugs I bought. I realize it has been 6 months since I purchased your tune but I was incapacitated and posted it on this forum. My car still surges with your tune. It is throwing code P0141 and the check engine light is on. It is due for an inspection and it will not pass. PLEASE HELP!

He doesn't work weekends, be patient I am sure he will help you tomorrow. (I know Randy doesn't work weekends either most tuners don't)
Exactly, I don't work the weekends starting Friday at 3:00pm CST.

I work non-stop all day everyday Mon-Thu need some me time. That me time is more like her time... lol

Props to Adam because:

+ He does great work
+ He is not scouring these forums in the middle of the night trying to prove his point
+ His tune is not killing anyone's engine
+ He takes weekends off and has a real life outside of cars, apparently

A balanced, conservative, respectful and honest tuner for our cars. Got my business.

can you get rid of the auto blip rev match thing or whatever it is? and can the boost dumping between gears be reduced? I'd really like the engine to do what i want it to do instead of it's own thing. random revving in parking lots or not holding boost unless i flatshift below redline is getting annoying.

I don't know about the blip you are talking about, but as far as the boost dump goes, I believe that's the car's throttle delay after shifting. I emailed Adam and he deleted the throttle delay and it's much better now. I still think this car has some delay that I've not experienced in other turbo cars, but I think that's part of how the car acts stock.

well that's good news.

ever notice when you go to coast by just pressing the clutch in and the revs don't drop? maybe it's just my car but sometimes they'll even rise, which is insanely annoying when i'm navigating a parking lot going back and forth between 1st and 2nd, sometimes the car will think i'm down shifting when i'm just cruising and raise the revs to almost 3k.

I don't know if I've experienced that, but I will check tonight when I go out. I think Adam's tune has transformed the car. Along with my intercooler, I think it's the best bang for the buck you can do. Everything else feels minor... I guess until you change the turbo. I'd love to be able to afford a cyborg one of these days.

He can rid of that. It's called a rev hang.

That is correct, rev hang can be disabled. Boost dumping between gears is always going to happen because it is venting turbo pressure out the BPV. If you keep the BPV closed it can help but it will cause surging and damage the turbo. Anti-lag is the only way to do it but it isn't available just yet and it is also not healthy for a street car.

Isn't that what the FFS'ing is for? Also known as No-lift-shifting etc. It obviously doesn't hold all the boost, but on the cars I've ran it on it makes a big difference.

P.S. Random, but I've always thought it was weird how little talk there is about NLS'ing here even though it's on the newest revision cobb OTS maps.

what about flat shifting before redline? when I shift 1-2 around 6k there's no boost drop, is that breaking things? looking forward to my tune in sept, if i can talk the SO in to OK.
