STRATIFIED - Aux Fuel System Now Available

Why would running the Aux system on E85 drain the LPFP to the point of running lean, while making XXX Whp, while the MPFI setup wouldn't run the LPFP to the pump of dropping rail pressure and running lean?
360whp of fuel, is 360whp of fuel. And maybe their is the difference... Maybe the AUX system car makes 400whp, and 100% E85 is too much to ask of the LPFP, while the car with 360whp has the mpfi and the LPFP CAN KEEP UP with 360whp.

So... If the AUX car turned it boost down by 40whp worth, it would prob be able to handle E85 just fine. And the backwards is true as well, if the MPFI car turned the power up from 360whp to 400whp, then the same LPFP would be the limiter.

Or am I not getting what is happening ?
Dead on. Doesn't matter how you get it. If you source from the LPFP you hit a limit of the pump eventually. Similar to how when the HPFP dips because of physical limitation and you have to back off, eventually you hit the same limit for the LPFP. The LPFP on the FoST at least can flow much more than the HPFP can down low.

9 pages of that hurt my head.... For us little guys, that dont need big HP #'s, can we run this kit with a stock turbo and 91octane just to keep our valves clean? Maybe a little spray while under boost?

You could.... But a $350 AEM water/meth kit would do the job way better, and if you never tuned the car to REQUIRE it, if/when you run out of water/meth; you just re-fill it when you get a chance... Unless your using straight E85 for fuel, the stock turbo isn't even close to taxing the stock fuel system.

Got mine in the mail today:)

M/W injection can deal with many issues but adds it's own, higher level of maintenance meaning you have to buy meth, mix it, have a tank for it, weighs more with the tank and pump, not available in some places, carrying cans of meth in the back on a road trip not so safe.....been there, done that, for some it is a Godsend, for others a pain in the arse, or somewhere in the middle.

The Stratified kit is not cheap but damn well done from just looking at it and what has been done on the prototype kit, worth saving up for:)

91, 93, etc octane doing what you need...cost is very reasonable for the kit when you consider all aspects.

Going to install mine this weekend and finish tuning with Adam... I'll get to a dyno as soon as Adam says tuning is done...

FYI...

Saw this posted on both DHMS and Stratified FB pages...I believe it's Hijinx's FiST who recently installed Stratified's Aux Fuel System and is now being retuned by DHMS??

"Our friend Russell at Deadhook Motorsports working on a Fiesta Tune with our Aux Fuel Kit. Looks like things are going well!" - STRATIFIED

"Doing some late night tuning with the Stratified Automotive Controls Aux Fuel Kit on a customers big turbo fiesta. This car is on 93oct. You can see where before this kit it would run lean in a few spots. At the lower RPM the HPFP could not keep up and at the higher RPM the injectors cant keep up but with the Aux Fuel Kit and COBB Tuning AccessPort Combo it makes for a safe, reliable, and efficient high HP street machine!" -DHMS

I'm surprised and impressed Straified even bothered with us on the fuel system honestly... Props to them.
That AFR looks great.
Smoothing on 4 ?
Yea i normally have it on 3 not sure why i switched it. This was more of air fuel tuning and not so much power tuning so i dont get to concerned with the HP and tq curve. But 20psi at 3600rpm is not to bad for a GTX2867r! Ill take that curve all day!

We are a direct Stratified Dealer. If you need this kit or have any questions you can contact my self for purchase or tuning or you can contact Alex at stratified.

http://www.stratifiedauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=117_124&products_id=306

We contacted Stratified back in July for a Fiesta kit. With the awesome kit they made for the focus it was a no brainier to work with them instead of "reinvent the wheel". We sent them a intake and throttle body. We also sent them what we wanted for engine bay placement and all that good stuff. After some back and forth we had the prototype in our hands 1 week before Focus Fest!

Knowing how far i wanted to push the limits i knew the current injector options were not large enough. So i called Injector Dynamics and got a ID1300 coming! We used a e50-e55 mix and about 33-34psi later this is the results

Fist Highest Two jpg

All the kits i shipped out recently came with a 90lb injector. Here is the injector break down (with Fiesta Base pressure of 80psi)

50lb/hr

Gasoline = 136hp of fuel
E85 = 97hp

90lb/hr

Gasoline = 244hp
E85 = 174hp

ID1300(Special DHM order)

Gasoline = 336hp
E85 = 240hp

With that being said we have 3 cars that are currently being tuned with big turbo kits on a range of fuels

This kit powered FearTheSnail into the 11's on 110oct race gas!

His car is back on a OTS aux kit now going to a e30 tune and so far so good.

(i think we have a boost leak due to spool being off and low power at that boost but you can see the air fuel stable)

aux before and after

Also here is Hijinx on 93oct! His tune is coming along great! Picked up spool and a much safe AFR! Also was able to add a little power to the whole curve!

any questions please feel free to ask!

I def like Hijinx curve and output on 93oct. His car def has my favorite setup, even with 300whp on 93oct I really liked it, let alone 309whp. The fuel system def makes the 300+ whp range look way more "long term safe", without it, it was a little scary on the topend AFR wise. I'm excited to see his car on E50 of E85. I'm hoping the extra timing down low can get the turbo on even faster. Hijinx numbers were my target for my next setup (like NOT stock frame turbo), but I think on ethanol, he's gonna make too much for me to match... I'm gonna try though :)

FUN STUFF:):)

You have that GTX spooling 200 or so RPM sooner than my EFR!

Can't wait until you get the tuning going on the GTX2860R swap I am still looking for a shop to rent so I can pull the EFR off and send parts to mod to you:)
