This thing makes all kinds of noise all the time. Even part throttle. I'm going to coat the hot side of the shield in gold thermal tape.

I am very close to driving it, finally!

As soon as the front caliper mounts are done at the machine shop and shipped to me and the rear mounts done it will be on the road putting around breaking in the engine then I will run it for some data logging to send off to get the tune done....close, 5 months on the lift and soon on the ground and road!

With all the work you have done, I'm definitely excited to see your results when you start testing it out.....so, what did I do today! I FINALLY GOT MY REPLACEMENT O2 SENSOR FROM FORD AND INSTALLED IT, lol. Apparently the upstream sensor is made in Germany. Car feels great and getting used to the new mods as well as data logging.

Did you happen to see if it looked the same as that Bosch posted over in the order thread? Also curious how much Ford hit you for the genuine part?

The part was $79.39. I also tried the 2014 Focus ST part and it was much shorter. The Bosch did look very similar, but I didn't try it out.

For that price I'd have waited as well. Not worth worrying about trying an unknown part. Happy it all worked out for ya.

It's funny too because the upstream for both the Focus ST and the Fusion 1.6t are twice as much. They are both manufactured in the US and the Fiesta ST upstream was manufactured in Germany...this is going off of the parts pulled at the dealer when I was trying to find an alternate. They had the country of origin listed on the sensor itself.

Which knob/options is that and how is the weight?
It is the titanium sphere, brushed, 4 small grooves on bottom half. A little heavier than stock. Had a super heavy JBR and a too light Cobb. For me the weight is just right. The sphere is a tad smaller than the Cobb and feels good for my smallish hand as did the Cobb.

Awesome, thanks! Also, I think you'll really like the tune. I'll be sending off my datalogs from my first revision tonight.

Loaded it up with two huge boxes of stuff to get installed tonight. Left box is MBRP 409 Exhaust and right box is a Curt trailer hitch.

I'm amazed it fit.

Installed my Steeda shift knob from my old Focus. To my surprise, reverse lock out still works with it. It looks taller but it really isn't.
