Might be pulling the trigger on one of these exhausts. I love the sound on the YouTube videos. I had 1997 DSM that was heavily modified and I love the turbo and popping sounds. I wish there were some more sound clips of the so called drone
I love the exhaust only time It ever gets annoying is at like 80mph on the freeway at 70 its fine or 85+ its fine that's my only complaint. get it.... its a great price looks good and I love the sound wen you floor it it roars dude. pops and crackles a lot.

Snap crackle and pop fo dayz. Love it. I was however disappointed in the amount of surface rust on the resonator and piping within a 2 month period. [crazyeye]

It comes with new hangers right? I know some people order the cobb hangers with new exhausts

And I'm not worried about rust. It's summer here for like 9 months. They don't even know what salting the roads is around here

If you love the turbo, gurgle & popping this exhaust has it all. since my post from install I have since done a stage 3 adam tune (tuned+ - www.adamtuned.com) . That alone has made a significant difference as the OTS Cobb stage 3 tune wasn't too compatible with my setup. it's def a throaty exhaust i'm sure you'd like. I've got a Vibrant Ultra quiet resonator to add in as well and I think for me that will bring it to my liking. Everyone is different obviously but I knew what I was getting into and love the exhaust but just getting it to what works for me was the next step. Video's don't really do any justice very hard to hear the exhaust in it's raw.

same here, I knew it was a louder exhaust but wth, I love it. I'm also stage3 e30 tuned from adam and that also made a difference in the noise at full throttle it roars now, its really a beautiful thing lol

I share this exact opinion, something about 3k - 3500rpm

I'm sure I'll be fine with it. I don't daily drive my car so even if it's loud I don't care. I'll be sure to post a review once it's on.

Received it today and installed it today. Didnt feel like messing with it so I took it to the muffler shop and had them install it. Took them about 45 minutes. I LOVE IT! Its not too loud at all. After reading about all the people saying its too loud and it drones too much I was expecting something different. It sounds awesome. If you are cruising on the highway it sounds stock until you put a load on it. Then it has that drone sound but its isnt bad at all. Even took my fiance out in it and she said she loved it and thought it wasnt overly loud at all. I really like this exhaust. Makes the car sound fantastic. Oh and I fit the stock exhaust in the back of my car to get it back home. I was surprised it fit back there. You just have to take out the trunk cover thing. If you are considering this exhaust dont hesitate and buy it! Its not too loud. It sounds perfect.

One question I have is....Is there a way to keep the exhaust from sliding side to side at the rear? It gets pretty close to the edge of the plastic bumper. I guess maybe its a little loose on the hangers due to the wd40 they used to slide the hanger on the metal rods.

It could just be the stock exhaust hangars. I have heard they're pretty weak and that after moving them around for an exhaust change, they get pretty loose. I'm going to buy upgraded hangars when I purchase mine.

I like the crackles and pops but it's to raspy and annoying for my taste . I think Cobb/MaP or cpe sounds better

I threw a flowmaster muffler on my MBRP catback and it takes out all the rasp. Still gets a little bit of crackle but not even half as much as before which is a bit disappointing I guess

Ugly muffler but my neighbour's prefer it this way [rofl]

My 97 eclipse was much louder. I think this exhaust is perfect even for a daily driver. I wouldn't mind if it was even louder. If I still lived in Florida I would go with a cat less downpipe. Stupid texas emissions stop us from going all out
