How long ago did this happen?
I emailed him yesterday about some parts status, he told me he was going on his own. He told me if I was having any troubles reaching MAP, to first contact them, then contact him if any issues come up.

I attempted my install last night, and had the same issue with the support brace - I wasn't sure where to attach it. After looking at pictures I realized the short part of the elbow attached to the stock intake tube, but I was unable to get it on as easy as the other side - I'll try some soapy water when I redo it on Saturday.

I ended up putting the stock intake back on, which was no big deal since i have to install a DHM symposer delete on Saturday, and it all needs to come back out anyway. I didin't realize how much stuff needs to come out for that (battery, battery tray) and I didn't have time to do it last night lol.

For the hose that goes into the tube (with the green clamp) you can probably get a small hose clamp to hold it on.
For the elbow, the shorter side was a little harder to get on as well, which was why I switched to the long sider incorrectly. I didn't use anything except kinda sticking my hand in the elbow and wiggling it till it went on (my hands aren't that large). It helped if I took the clamps off too. I had them on very loose but I think it was still putting a little restriction on the elbow.

I'll give that a try - I had the clamps off as well.

no reply from the support e-mail yet, so if anyone can let me know where the intake support brace mounts, I'll be your best friend and buy you an ice cream cone :D

it bolts to a stud coming off the block...just take off the 10mm nut that's currently there position the support brace on that stud and tighten the nut back down...there is literally only 1 place for it to go

Hate to always be the bug-a-boo, but does anyone have a nice detailed how-to with pictures so that I can bookmark it? Seems to be a lot of confusion with that silicone elbow and a few other parts of this install.

Unfortunately, due to all of the sales/promotions going on today, I don't really have the time to dig through all of my emails. I am kind of hoping someone with the kit can chime in with some assistance. In theory, it should be extremely straight forward as it's designed to be a drop in replacement... UNLESS you have a 2016 model in which case, there will be a revision to address the 2016 iteration of Fiesta ST

Hope this helps. Shorter side to the factory tube, longer side to the filter.

That intake sure looks nice! Why Ford had to make the intake more complicated for 2016 must have been for emissions or something.

I think we finally have a plan moving forward for the 2016. I am quite sure Ford made some provisions for emission regulatory devices/strategies, but we will have one in shop today to know for sure! I am kind of excited about it!

Now I wish I would have ponied up for the black finish on the intake. The welds looks great on the exposed, but that black just blends so well with the rest of the car.

Will you guys have a replacement piece for the tube with the nipple and MAF slot before christmas? I just received my intercooler so I'm probably going to install the charge pipes and all that in this weekend. Hopefully I can figure it all out. I wish there were some instructions!

One of our members here was gracious enough to allow us the use of his car for the afternoon. It did allow us some insight onto what was changed on the intake for 2016... it appears that Ford essentially (likely in an attempt to save some money during the manufacturing process) simply re-located a check valve that was inherently there for the 2015... at least that is my understanding. We will be offering a revised kit that will be compatible with both years, but the 2016 kit will just include extra line and a check valve to replace the design and install. We will do everything in our power to make it a clean installing kit!

Got my intake installed on Sunday! All I can say is this thing sounds amazing and I wish I could get out on track but unfortunately its winter. My intake air temps are maintaining around 10 to 12 F above ambient temps which seems to be consistent with what everyone else has found. I definitely feel I picked up some power based on my butt dyno and its also much easier to lose traction in 2nd gear.

Here's a video I made of the sound - camera was mounted by the license plate, fully enclosed GoPro using the internal mic

It was well worth the money and patience. I ordered it with my catch can and wanted everything to match and wanted to maintain the factory cover as well.
