Also have to consider, could order JS performance's induction tube as well, current exchange rate puts theirs at ~$115 plus shipping. Rodmoe had one for a while.

I want to see what Mishimoto does with theirs price wise first before I decide.
I am right there with you. Anxious to see.

Mishimoto's Fiesta ST Silicone Induction Hose Pre-Sale!

Hey Guys!
The Fiesta ST Induction Hose Pre-Sale is live! As a thank you to our readers (seriously we appreciate it) we want to introduce it to you first. Check out our pre-sale announcement in all its glorious details below!

Don’t have time to read? Here is the Pre-Sale Link!

We are especially excited to announce this pre-sale because of how well the induction hose performed on the dyno. The induction hose alone made max gains of 5hp and 10 ft/lbs of torque. Considering the extremely straightforward install this may just be the easiest power your Fiesta will ever make.

This hose was deigned to replace the hose in your stock intake system with a much sleeker and more functional model. This induction hose has a 28% volume increase over the stock intake greatly improving the flow. It is just enough of an upgrade to see some of the benefits of an aftermarket intake without having to replace your entire stock system.

Constructed from five-ply silicone featuring molded steel rings for added reinforcement and strength, it is certainly durable enough to supply air to your Fiesta ST for as long as its lifetime warranty allows.

Without further delay here are the pre-sale details you came for!

Pre-Sale Link!

Pre-Sale Price: $149.95

MSRP: $275.00

Pre-Sale Expiration Date: 10/30/15

Pre-Sale Link!

Let me know if you have any questions on this!

Thank you for your feedback!
In order to provide you the most premium product that we can, backed by the support of our R&D testing and Lifetime warranty, we have to price our products as such. We try to be as price competitive as possible which is why we make sure to offer the pre-sale price to our readers on the forum first. This allows you to take advantage of nearly 50% off of MSRP because we appreciate you taking the time to read about our R&D efforts and provide us with feedback.
Thanks!

I understand where you're coming from, but in this case... a silicon hose which should be a drop on the bucket for you guys with R&D, manufacturing, etc. IMO, the price is out of this world. Especially the MSRP $275. WOW. IMO, this is not the part to make huge margins on, there are other options here in the U.S. and overseas for less or comparable to your pre-sale price at $145. There's nothing spectacular with this hose. You'd probably make more in sales and get more people on board with the brand with a better price.

+2, maybe a xmas special at $89
That would be ideal. Still may do the pre-sale though.

The pre-sale will be the lowest price available from Mishimoto directly. However, after the pre-sale is over you can still get a great deal on this hose from one of our authorized dealers. Checking with them (to find one you can use the where to buy feature on our website HERE) can get you the Mishimoto products that you want without having to pay MSRP.

It is hard to say that we put more R&D into one product than another, it depends on the vehicle and the specific product for that vehicle. A radiator may be straightforward for one car but take a ton of R&D time for another, just like a intake hose may just be a hose for one car but take more time on another. We always want to put as much time as needed to create the best product for you guys that we can. Our silicone induction hose is 5-ply silicone reinforced with steel wire for the utmost durability backed by our lifetime warranty and R&D process (including dyno testing). We put our hearts into developing quality products whether they are an oil cooler or an induction hose because we want to have the best products around.

I completely understand your point on price (hey I am a car enthusiast as well!) and if it were up to me all car parts would cost as much as a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, we still have to run a business and in order to do so, price our products accordingly. That being said we are not trying to turn an insane profit off of you guys which is why we run the pre-sale at the lowest price possible and offer it to our forum followers first. We appreciate all of your comments, criticisms, and feedback as it helps us to bring you the best that we have to offer!
Thanks!

Shipping Update

Hi everyone,

Apologies for the delayed update, here is what is going on:

Where’s my Induction Hose?
We had a large number of hoses that were supposed to arrive at our warehouse and be shipped out on Friday the 11th, but FedEx lost the shipment…..yes, the entire shipment. We’ve worked with FedEx to try and find the hoses but they can’t locate the lost shipment. I really wish there was better news, but this one is completely out of our control.

What’s happening now?
We already have a second shipment of hoses in route to our warehouse but it is not scheduled to arrive until after Christmas. Unfortunately, there is no way to speed up this shipment. We are at the mercy of FedEx at this point. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused around the holiday.

When will it ship?
As of right now, we’re expecting to ship all orders in the first week of January.

As a way of saying thank you for your patience we are dropping the price of the hose until it ships out. This means that everyone who ordered the hose during the pre-sale will get it for $100. Again, my apologies, as a car enthusiast I understand one of the most frustrating things is delayed parts. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Sara
