Ok so i wanted an A pillar mount that cobb sells, problem is its 64$ + tax, conversion to Canadian $$ and shipping... so probably around 100$ for 1$ in materials.
so i started to complain about how we get robbed here to my wife as i always do. then it hit me as it usually does... "I can make that i say" and my wife looks at me and says "i knew you were gonna say that" as she walks away. so here is what i made in about an hour of work and some small scraps i had.

Prototype 1 didnt allow for the AP to fit without hitting the dash.

Here are the bits for prototype 2, it will extend out to allow AP to fit.

Here is prototype 2 installed, seems to work.

Here is my POV with proto 2 in.
I went for a drive to give proto 2 a short field test, works perfect.

so in conclusion, i also can make an A pillar mount for 1$ in materials, and some ingenuity.

[gunfire] to overpriced simple accessories.

Hope you all like it

Nice work!!!!!

I wanna put my Fiesta badge back on under the ST. What kind of tape and where to buy. I dont wanna buy something that's gonna rip my paint off if I decide to remove again.
Anyone?

^3m double sided tape sold at just about any auto parts store should work just fine. They have varying thicknesses so I'd go with something thin for a more flush appearance.

Was in a cruise/show/meet today for a club I'm in for atlantic canada and the FiST got a TON of attention. A lot of it was from people who didn't have a clue what it was but it got a very positive review from everyone there. I was the only Ford and one of only a handful of dosmetic vehicles but I escaped with my life. Had one of the club heads even complement the new COBB exhaust going "wow that Ford sounds awesome", had no idea it was a fiesta lol. Enough jibber jabber time for some pics!

And of course it's not a show without a handful of these bad boys, were 3 or 4 at this meet.

Today, I received my first revision tune from Panda Motor Works. They raised the idle to 1k, which alleviates the shaking from the Cobb RRM unit, and made the throttle more linear. Basically, it's the tits and the wet t-shirt. Can't wait to see what they do with the next revision. They are an up and coming ST tuner/company and currently working on tuning and a FMIC which I should have in a couple weeks. Google them and keep an eye on them. I'll be posting more about them as I receive revisions.

Edit: BTW, this is for the Cobb AP.

Pulled the car into the hangar, and installed the Cobb RMM, completing the Stage 1 Kit. When I took the car off the jacks, and was cleaning up, I noticed the spacer in the damn box. Had to go back and do some warranty work! :)

Got my car back from the dealer with a brand new transmission. And possibly semi synthetic oil instead of full synthetic. 😠

We need a dealer rating database or something. How did you find out they used the wrong fluid?

It turns out the manual states that semi synthetic is OK... I guess for my next oil changes I will have to pay extra for fully synthetic or at least pay the difference.

My dealership didn't even know what it took. I opted to pay the extra and get full synthetic. They were having some special for the "works" package, only $60 or something like that.

Finally got around to installing the Mountune short shifter and full induction kit... I was expecting anything from the intake kit, but WOW, was I surprised when I took it out for a drive! My butt dyno said HELL YEAH!!! much improved throttle response and the turbo just comes in earlier and harder than ever. I also noticed a huge improvement in intake air temps. The hose that runs into the fender really helps keep the temps no higher than 10 degrees above ambient. Most of the time it was with 3 degrees which meant for the first time I saw charge air temps lower than ambient! This car just continues to amaze me!

I also installed the hydraulic hood strut from sico developments out of the UK. Great little kit that was easy to install.

While I'm sure it's getting cool air in, temps below ambient are impossible, literally, without an active cooling element, not going to happen in a passive system.

Good call razor... I wasn't watching the accessport while driving, just made the quick assumption but thinking back to thermodynamics class I'd agree that you're 100% correct. Guess I got caught up in the temps being so much lower than I was seeing with the stock airbox. The main thing is, the car loves this new mod and so do I!!!!

You're just covering the intercooler now...
Do you think it will make a difference on every day city driving? I live in a small city and my daily commute is about 8 miles round trip.

And I didn't mention that it takes two wingnuts to completely remove the contraption. It is secure enough that it won't fell.

I also received and installed my dead pedal:
