Guys, I am looking for something a little brighter than stock. I am not looking to do a hid mod or anything like that. If possible just a simple switch of bulbs that are odot approved. Any leads???

Are you looking for bulbs for your '13 sedan? That probably has h11b bulbs, as opposed to the h11 that the ST has. Options are much more limited on the h11b. I installed some eiko clear vision pro on my gfs 13 hatch as they wee one of the few options for that style. They seem brighter, slightly.

Thanks for your reply. Yes it's for my sedan. The lights aren't nearly as bright ad I would like. Do you happen to know the name of the ones you bought. Or any recommendations?

H11 and H11B are the same intensity, but with a very minor difference in the bulb splines going into it.

Led bulbs are brighter and easier than installing a plug and play HID kit. Why don't you want HID's anyway? It's super simple to install

Frankie I just didn't know how many changes I would have to make to get the hid to fit? Do they just plug in? What ones would you recommend? ?

If you are looking for the brightest you can get then HID is the best in my opinion. As long as you find a plug and play kit for your bulb type there is no cutting. You just plug the stock harness into the ballast, then the hid bulb out of the ballast and you are on your way. Hardest part is finding somewhere to stick the ballast. Slim type ballast are easier to hide.

The light police are going to tell you HID's are no good or safe, but do what you want, it's your car.

Thanks!! Any recommendations or links? As long as they are street legal, that's all i care about.

I've always dealt with xenondepot.com and have had great results. They don't burn out after a couple of months like an eBay kit.

Be sure to email or call them to verify stock before ordering though

You won't be street legal with drop-in LED bulbs nor a drop-in HID system.

I'm an employee of TRS and have been here for 4+ years: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/hid-systems/morimoto-elite-hid-system-h11.html.

Basically, it's not generic rebadged stuff like 99% of other shops. We fine tune the product based on ongoing feedback from our 700+ dealers worldwide. Current failure rate is right at 0.2%--1/10th that of industry average.

So hid kits aren't street legal? For those that have them, do the cops actually bug you guys about them?

No HID drop-in kit is street legal. Having said that, many people won't have issues with cops, but many will. It's a crap shoot.

I usually find if you stick with a white light you won't get bothered, at least in my area.

I have friends who have had yellow, purple, blue HID's. they seem to attract more attention

Exactly, you want to stick with 4300-5000k color temps. 6000k at the most. trsandrew's link even listed the light output by colors.
