Update!

This is the last week to take advantage of the Pre-Sale price! Expansion tanks will start shipping this week.

Got one on order:)

I had to do this to help the pitiful engine bay in this car as much as for any other reason but I will be racing this car, hard, a lot, better to be safe that sorry at an expensive track day.

Yipee!

Any news on the shipping? Haven't heard anything.
Everyone who has already ordered, your orders are being processed as we speak and should be shipping out early next week. The Pre-Sale is still open for one more day for those who haven't already ordered, and those will ship with the next batch. I will keep you all in the loop if anything changes!

Mine arrived yesterday! Won't be able to get it installed until after this weekend though :(
Yes! The first batch of Pre-Orders were shipped from our Delaware office so that explains the speedy shipping. Can't wait to see it installed!

I just installed mine. Looks hot! (gets really hot too). Thanks Mishimoto!

But I was very frustrated trying to put my strut tower brace and the new mount for the tank. So I just left the brace off for now.

I know how my car feels when I don't have my strut brace (with all my other bracing on) and I think I might switch back to my old tank.

Has anyone else had this issue? I'm tempted to take a cutting wheel and chop off the new mounting point on the tank for the strut tower. But I am sure that is not recommended.

I've had a pierce strut brace for awhile now.

It seems like the thread for the 10mm nut isn't long enough to have the 1/8(?) inch base plate of the brace and the thick mishimoto mount. Its also tricky to get it all stacked up right in that tight little space. You gotta get the brace on first, then flip over the thin mount for the ac-line(?), and lastly slide in the tank partially and lift everything up to try to get the mounting pegs lined up. Once you get it all on, the 10mm nut doesn't have enough thread.

Tapped and added aluminum elbows and used some extra braided lines I had from the turbo install, figured I may as well dress things up a bit as the car has such and ugly engine and engine bay. I wanted to get rid of the stock plastic hard lines and ended up with something I like much better.

Might be a nice option for those interested.

--------------

Notice all the mods but lack of STB, the more I look at the stock cowl/firewall design the less it seems one is needed though I will likely test one in the future, of my own design if I do.

Apologies that you are having fitment trouble. Do you have some photos of the issue? We would be happy to look into this for you.
