So MA performance says the stock downpipe is almost no restriction at all on a 220whp stock turbo, but a 300whp turbo requires a 700hp size downpipe?

Who is right???

GO !!! Lol ( I'm not voting, lol )

LOL!!

Also interesting that MAP saw ~20hp gain with just their Catback and Mishimoto just comes out today and says there was no difference seen with their Catback.... And both are 2.5" Catbacks...[dunno]

After we were certain of our exhaust design, we tested the exhaust on the dyno with the stock downpipe. As expected, we saw no power gains with the exhaust alone. Still, the larger piping featured in our exhaust will allow for more flow and set us up for power gains with the addition of other modifications.

It will be interesting to see final test results from Peron with the new DP mated to their new Super Stock V2 Hybrid Turbocharger...They seem to be doing some interesting things over there....

Well... Ya got me, lol. But seriously, I'm indifferent ( despite my under tones of a pick on the pervious post, lol ). I'm truely interested in EVERYONE's findings.

LOL...admittedly I'm a bit perplexed as well as to the broad range of results reported...

But its is good to see how many folks are working on providing aftermarket parts for the FiST!

I'll admit it.... If I had a stock downpipe and the plans for a cyborg.... I'd buy the 3.5" DP.
I told Levels not to build a 2.5" DP. They insisted a 2.5" was good enough. And I didn't disagree, but merely suggest, " if eveyone has the choice of a 2.5 or 3" DP for about the same price? Everyone will buy the 3".
Guess what.... After levels released their DP, 4 other companies released a 3". And.... I've never heard of anyone with a levels 2.5" DP.
Juss say'n :)

The "apparent" difference is that MAP tested their CBE on the Cobb Stg 1 tune. I say anyone that's want good power should just buy the MAP CBE and fun the Cobb OTS Stg 1 map. It just seems like everything else doesn't get you much else power.
