Nice, but what is the 'sad kitty' in the cubby?
Lol it's technically a giant rat. It's the spirit of wind/breeze in the anime "My Neighbour Totoro". As for why it's there... because it fits and nothing else does?

Edit: better translation...

OK, I figured it was some form of anime character/critter, and yes, in that pic it is easier to tell it's a rodent, but looked kind of feline in the cubby. ;)

How are you guys liking that Anarchy Motive knob? It seems REALLY heavy at 1.4 lbs. I know that one gent up above said to be careful when downshifting to third.

It is on the heavier side... I don't really "slam" through the gears so it's alright for me. I can see how some won't like it though.

+1 for the gt350 knob. The leather feels really good, I love the shape. I have more confidence when going into gear and more personal satisfaction. Plus it looks better

Just received my new Lathe Werks Piston shifter. Really love the feel of it!

Compared to stock knob, the weight of the piston is about the same, maybe a bit heavier.

Thanks to Chris at Lathe Werks for the great service and fast delivery (manufactured and shipped within a day and received it 10 days later in Canada).

I wont go anywhere else for my next shifters [:D]

I really like the look of that. The stock shift knob is too short for me to feel really confident in the 5th/6th gear throws.

Yes, that is a great looking shift knob (and adds the height many on here want).

Chris is located just around the corner from where I used to work (in another life, at another time), but still close enough to where I go to visit my kids that I could pick up an item without too much inconvenience. ;)

Thanks for the post and images. Lathe Werks is now atop my list.

Unless they start making the GT 350 shift knob with our thread. LOL

A question for Lathe Werks piston-style owners: does the height of the knob make reaching and lifting the reverse lockout more difficult?

Thanks!
