We are looking for a few good men! Or women.
Is your FiST highly visable? Do you go to a lot of car shows and meets? Participate in sanctioned races (AutoX, Nasa, SCCA etc)
We'd like some FIST to represent cp-e in the community. Post up a few pictures, your mod list and some of the past events you've been to with your FiST. We will PM our choices.

2015 FiST, only option Recaro's
Past: Former Redline Time Attack East Coast Rep/tech inspector/instructor, HPDE instructor at Summit Point for various clubs to include Ferrari, 2 Time Street RWD Redline Time Attack class winner, worked for multiple tuner shops to include Function Tuned (Nissan/BMW) and Road Race Technologies (BMW) (no longer work in the automotive field, but have a very good understanding of the tuner business).
Future exposure: Plan on doing an aggressive HPDE schedule and some TT with NASA, some autocross stuff with various groups, cars and coffee meets, some Mega meets, and for 2017 One Lap of America followed by Targa Newfoundland in 2018.
Past Exposure: Link to video when the car was used by Rightfootdown.com and plans to use the car again in the future. This is when it was stock. The founder and editors of RFD are close friends and I do write articles for them as well as attend events such as the GRC in DC with full media access from Red Bull and tickets from Ford.
http://www.rightfootdown.com/videos/video/stock-fiesta-st-vs-fully-modified-fiesta-st/
Current mods:
2J Racing intake
Levels intercooler
custom charge pipe built by RAAMAudio.
Future: addressing the cooling needs for track use via hood vents and Mishitmoto oil cooler/radiator, than exhaust, than suspension and brakes.

I am ok with the car being wrapped or stickered with large decals/graphics. Drove my sponsored E36 M3 to work everyday in full livery for years.

Just out of curiosity, isn't there a certain assumption of substantive cp-e content in a car associated with sponsorship?

You got all this stuff: http://cp-e.com/webstore/product-category/ford/fiesta-st/

Wouldn't your sponsored car NEED to show some of that off? I don't think any of the cars in this submission pile have ANY of your parts. Seems like that would be strange to "sponsor" such a car.

OR: Are you suggesting that a sponsored car might receive your products for "demo" purposes as an incentive...which, of course, would be an AWESOME incentive. LOL.

Some bad azz cars on this thread!

I would imagine that a CP-E sponsored car is not going to have any competitor parts on it. Just a thought.

All the submissions have been stellar. You guys have done an awesome job with your FiSTs and we LOVE seeing them all. We did however hope to have more people with our parts on their cars. Seeing no one submitting with our parts is kind of heartbreaking, BUT this is part of the reason why we are doing this so we can have some representatives in the community submitting reviews and giving real world feedback to fellow owners about our products. Word of mouth is a powerful thing.
If chosen we will PM you. You WILL have to replace all the parts on your vehicle with parts that we currently manufacture.
Thank being said, please don't be shy and submit more!

LOL. I figured. Now, are you sponsoring the winner by GIVING him/her the stuffs to install on their cars, because, if so, oh yeah. It's ON. My car's build thread in my signature. Hah.

Possibly, we have sponsorships ranging from a base sponsorship which is a small discount, then a middle sponsorship with is a significant discount to our full sponsorship. It all depends on the exposure and participation in the community so there's no telling where people will fall. It does help if you already have our parts on your vehicle.
It does also help to follow the directions we posted in the first post.

Just a thought, but rather than target folks who have heavily modified their cars with competitor parts already, wouldn't it make sense to look for someone who is not heavily modded yet but is looking to get into the modding/autox/meet scene and offer them significant discounts on your parts if they agree to do x number of events per year or something. You know, like an actual sponsor.

And if you really want to get your parts out there, maybe offer a discounted group buy on the forums here. Word of mouth is key, as you mentioned.

We never gave any stipulations as to who can "apply" or submit we also never gave any requirements for the people we choose. We purposely left it open ended so we could see what the community was doing. Heavily modded FiSTs to stock FiSTs are more than welcome. We do not discriminate. This would be an actual sponsorship so yes, contracted and obligations must be met, but these details will be discussed with the people chosen.
As for a group buy, we would love to, but that would mean we would be stepping on our vendors toes, it essentially undercuts them and we don't want to do that to them. It's basically stealing sales from them. This is why we leave discounts up to them, we really only discount products as an introductory price on release, or during our Black Friday Sale or holiday sale.
Now back on topic

Hah. Thanks! I was mostly kidding about participating My car is about done and -- while it would be interesting to assess your high-tech exhaust approach in real life -- I have so over spent on this lovely little POS, that I'm just wanting to take it out to the track for occasional HPDEs in the next few years. I'm not a good candidate for sponsorship in anyway. Car gets zero community exposure, beyond my Porsche, BMW, Alfa, Audi, etc. buddies at track days. I just found it interesting that you called for sponsorship submittals and practically every car volunteered had NO cp-e content. Odd. But: Good luck and I hope you find that righteous match! You make some great stuff.
