The front mount is the only thing I need. I am debating on buying the tune from Adam to get a better E30 tune than I have now....But I don't have the extra 125 to swing the life time tuning for when I get my FMIC in the next few months. To many vacations in the last 2 months took all my car part money. I hate not having an unlimited amount of money lmao.

Adam has been tuning my 15 w/gt2860 for just one week. All I can say is WOW! I had another protuner working on it for a month and got tired of waiting a week for an answer to questions. This guy here is super quick and answers any dumb question I can think of. The car feels so smooth and each new version feels great. You can not go wrong with this!

There is a lot of people on here complaining about long wait times from other tunners...I guess I'm not the only one

In your honest opinion, what sets your FMIC and CAI different/better than CP-Es?
We use very high quality cores and try to focus on the best combination of charge rows, charge row size, fin density, and size. You want to slow the air down enough to allow heat extraction, but if you slow it down too much it becomes a restriction so you have to find the best happy medium. With out Ecoboost Mustang Intercooler testing (which you can see here) we found a good combination of the above mentioned features and it works really well especially in small sizes.

What really sets us apart is the fact that we use billet end tanks on our intercoolers, that we design, machine, and assemble right here in our own facility. Billet end tanks add a good amount of benefits; Fitment, smooth transitions, lightweight, look awesome, and they also work an a heat exchanger themselves. You can see how we make the Ecoboost Mustang end tanks in the video below.

But let's try to keep the discussion on tuning, we have an R&D thread that I'm going to paste your comment and my reply in. You can click the link in my signature to review!

Seems to be pretty common, I always try to reply within 24 hours. However my average turn around is 12 hours.

Thank you for posting up! Your car is fun to work with, I like the elevation challenge!

Received my V2 tune exactly 5 minutes after sending my V1 logs...[rockon]

This is pretty standard with Adam. I ended up with some 17 or 18 revisions (total), including a couple of E30 revisions. I think the longest wait I had was 12 hours (once). Usually I got revisions within 2-3 hours (or less). [:D]

Just began the tuning process with Adam yesterday, and so far he has been nothing but a gentleman to work with. Excited to receive my revision!

Than you Jose, it has been smooth sailing with your car! Glad you like it.

Regarding Stage 3 power numbers, unfortunately unless any of the customers that posted in here get their car dyno'd I don't really have any numbers. My tuning is really focused on the power delivery and the driver experience, I know that I can produce more power than the Cobb OTS maps but to compare directly to anybody else I can't say yet. So far I have re-tuned 3 customers that were running someone else's custom tune on stage 3 setups and they are MUCH happier now than they were, Joszer above is one of them.
I will be doing this shortly (both 93 octane map and E30) on the dyno. Keep in mind, dyno numbers mean very little. The Mustang dyno that all my runs have been done on reads rediculously low as far as peak numbers are concerned and I am fine with that. The only "numbers" I'm interested in are improvements over my baselines and Stage 1 numbers (as well as power under the curves). My stage 1 OTS 93 octane tune netted me a palsey 172hp & 247pft at the wheels. My bone stock numbers were 163hp & 203pft. While the 9hp & 44pft increase were impressive, there was even more increases between the curves at different rpm... something you DEFINITELY feel in the "real world". Because the numbers were so disheartening, I sent my car to a facility that had a Dynojet dyno and netted a best run of 181hp & 228pft with the same Stage 1 OTS tune. The funny thing is, they used no fan in front of my car and did no cool downs between runs. The best run was the last (3rd) one. lol

While I only spent a week on the Stage 3 OTS tune, the MAP tune(s) are so much better "sorted". Driveability is WORLDS better (I can't stress this enough) and while peak power is noticeably improved, especially above 5,000 rpm where everything else seems to fall on it's face.... it's the driving around town that makes these tunes such a freakin hoot! The power delivery is smooth as a babies butt. When the power hits, it hits hard, but it's also much more linear than the OTS stuff. There are no dips, stutters or hesitations, even after driving at snails pace for a few days trying to achieve decent fuel economy.

Throw in Adams impeccable customer service and attention to detail and you are definitely getting your money's worth (and then some). Kudo's to Adam Brunson & MAPerformance. [twothumb] [drinking]

Heh. [wink] You get what you pay for. The GREAT thing about the lifetime tune with Adam is once you sign up, you can make as many changes to the car as your heart contends and he'll send you a tune that best fits your list of mods. Those retunes add up... especially when you are like me and make changes to your car often...

Keep in mind too that for the entry fee, this will also include an E30 tune... or whatever else you are wanting as far as the different slots. Currently I have a MAP 93 octane map on slot 1 and an E30 map on slot 2. If I want a revised "economy mode" tune, it would be included as well... or whatever else you may need. Big turbo upgrade? Boom. Adam has that covered as well. For $250 this is without a doubt THE BEST bang for the buck for this platform AT ANY MOD LEVEL. [:)]

I'm trying to stay away from my credit cards until they get lowered lol car spending was
Already initiated and was a no no
Haha amen to that

Racked up 7k in credit card debt between my old civic si mods and a few vacations... Stupid, stupid mistake I made at a young age. Took awhile to pay off but now I never charge anything unless it's an emergency
