I just got through getting my 91 octane and e30 tunes from Adam. The thing I most like about Adam is his willingness to answer questions, and fulfill requests for one change or another to a tune.
The 91 octane took a while, but the results were very impressive. I was running the Cobb Stage 3 tune for 91 octane, previously. I use Vdyno to look at my logs and compare them. I've tried to compare apples to apples when it comes to this comparison, but Adams 91 octane tune is much better than the Cobb tune. Once I run through the e30 in my tank, I will post some comparison datalogs between the Cobb and my new 91 octane tune taken on the same street on the same day.
I asked Adam to add back in rev hang into my two tunes. I know most don't like this aspect of the OEM tune, but I wanted to see if I liked it or not. I did a complete unmarry with the accessport, in order to compare bone stock rev hang with Adams' version. His version is so much better. We went through about 15 iterations with the 91 tune before we were satisfied with the tune.
Earlier this week, I switched over to e30 and ran Adam's e30 tune. He nailed it in one try. I compared this to someone else's e40 tune, and was amazed by the numbers. Adam's torque and HP differences between his e30 and the other e40 tune were statistically insignificant. Adam is the go to guy when it comes to email tuning. If you need a tune, you should consider MAPerformance tunes for life.
