See my post above yours... I found using just punching a simple hole was not effective....

Agreed. But the post I linked shows how to make a hole. (almost a punny there [hihi]) Just showing we are ok to make adequate holes to our cars. Still think I would end up with an air box full of snow in winter is it would act like a vacuum cleaner...

My concern is it sucking water in. That's the main hesitation I have.

That going to have be one helluva deep puddle to suck in any appreciable amount of water....you might get some mist...I believe there is also a small drain hole at the bottom of the OE intake airbox

I may have to pull the box and check. If there is drainage, that mitigates the risk. Though, if it was possible to include a hydroshield or something , that would probably help with the worry CanadianGuy has as well.

I do like the center caps. Hmm.

check it out...

Also the intake venting travels up and over and down to the side of the airbox....

Thanks for the support everyone. So far the FoST community has been nothing but a blessing. I forsee FiST community will be similar.

I am trying to expand into the FiST's, the only way I can do this is to justify the effort with undoubting interest in our products. The more people show support and interest, the faster it will get made and the more stuff we will come out with!!

Don't be shy, let me know what you want.

What does the snorkel run price wise and does it remain dry in the rain. The pic of the snorkel looks like it could pull in moisture during heavy rains.

Prices range from 129 to 189 depending on color, customizations etc... 129 would be the basic black snorkel with hardware, for the Focus ST. I would imagine it would be around the same price for a basic snorkel for the Fiesta ST.

there is a small hole at the bottom. I drilled mine out more when i modified the box with a brake duct ram air scoop.

VelossaTech how about something for the useless cubby hole by the shifter? Maybe a small gauge pod (not ideal for the view angle butmakes use of it) or an acessport mount in the same location.

How about something to help isolate the noise from a 2J intake? Lol. Maybe you could make something and sell them directly to 2J ? Maybe not...

Even though I'm not pulling my air from 7 feet away from the turbo anymore, I admit, that ram air thingy is pretty awesome !!

I'm sure I'll come up with something else for ya :)

For those the track what about a duct replacing the fog light to direct air to the brakes? Just a though I had.
That is an amazing idea !! Great call !! The washer tank is in the way, so maybe they can help with routing around/under it as well.
