Cordova motorspots optimized throttle bodys for 1.6

So i found this site on one of the ford fusion sites. This company appears to optimize the ecoboost throttle bodys to gain a 15% more air flow. Has anyone looked into this for the fiesta st? I notice there isnt alot of options for throttle bodys for the FIST.

I dont know if it would really make that much of a difference but I may be wrong. Perhaps with a big turbo.

For $140 it would be a good mod if it does indeed gain 4-6 hp

It seems the some of the guys in the fusion site have reported a notice in a throttle response and low end tq and top end hp. Most were ones with 2.0 and couple with 1.5.

No I'm not sure but check this out. A 3.5 ecoboost 72mm bored out throttle body made by bbk and a picture of the 1.6 fusion throttle body. They look pretty similar. I wonder if the 72mm could be made to work

That is interesting. Are the plugs the same? The bolt pattern look very close

Keep us in the loop about what you find out. Is it actually larger? If so I'm guessing you would need a custom tune to see its full potential.

Wil do. It does not bore out the throttle it takes out what can block or reduce air flow through the stock throttle body. It does not need a custom tune. But a custom tune would get more gain from it.
