It starts at $35,730, fully-optioned over $42k. I'm ok with that.

That's right in the same price point as the Golf R and STI.

I'm sorry, but I cannot in my mind justify the pricing on any of these big ticket hot hatches. I think the FiST is quite the bargain for what you get. $40k for an Sti/Evo/RS/R is crazy.

no visuals when i look it up. Seems like they're still working on the site.
I think you're right, and I wouldn't be surprised if the pricing showing up didn't turn it to be a fluke and later removed while they updated the rest.

This is true of any product. Many mechanics cannot justify the cost of Snap On tools and feel that Craftsman is a bargain for what you get. Every product has its 'premium' and 'budget' versions.

Not everyone will see the value or have the desire, but I'm sure plenty will. Many of us that have been around since the Mk1 Focus have been begging for one since they were first released overseas in 2002.

A Z D plan eligible? the next question is do I want to ditch the fiesta for the RS? I paid 20k for the fiesta, could probably have it paid off within a year and a half. the price point difference is 15k. I feel like for that amount of money i could build a fully built motor with suspension and tire/wheel upgrades and come out on top of almost every category.

Very tempting and the base price is pretty much where I thought it would be originally...But I think I'll hold onto the FiST for another year or so since I'm still having alot of fun with it and it just turned a year old a few days ago...

It's all relative. For the performance that you get, not only acceleration wise but with the adjustable differential, all wheel drive torque vectoring and selectable driving modes; not to mention comes with a bigger turbo than the mustang, and stronger block and better flowing head, this car should be all the performance anyone would ever need. This is stock.would imagine you should be able to put out close to 500hp without too much trouble. I'm already thinking about trading in the FiST. Will have to test drive first, but it sounds bad ass. Just my .02
