Ebay scam...got sold a non ST FRPP CBE

I contacted Borla and they did confirm that they do build the FRPP CBE. The CBE for both the Fiesta and Fiesta ST are exactly the same. The only difference is the lowered placement of the tips.

That's weird, I didn't come across that one for some reason. I only saw regular Fiesta stuff. Something must be amiss on my 'puter.

Nothing wrong with it the Ford racing site is not the best. If you click on the Fiesta link/section you get barely nothing. Instead search for Fiesta. Do not search for feista st you will also get all the focus st stuff.

Exhaust is coming off at 3. Seller says the exhaust sits normal and that it is for an ST. All the Borla/FRPP ST exhaust have a metal bar connecting the two muffler tips. Measured the tips and they are 3.0 not 3.19".

Since its only a tip placement you can't get your refund might as well just have the shop fix the placement. Borla exhaust are nice.

Im tempted to just have the tips re-welded. The exhaust fits correctly. I spoke with Borla and the measurements are the same.

This. It wouldn't be hard for an exhaust shop to move the tips.

Looking at the pipe size it does appear that the non ST pipes are smaller than the factory pipes.

Exhaust if off and the seller is not willing to refund. I should have know. The deal was too good to be true. The seller swears that the exhaust was for an ST but after i removed the exhaust the measurements were not even close. Pipe size was 2 inches and the muffler tips were 3 inches not 3.19 inches. Clamps measured 2 inches as well, not even close to the 2.25 clamp and pipe that was stated in the ebay ad. Now the seller wants to take me to small clams court because he sold me a non ST FRPP CBE that was sold to him and installed by his dealership. So by his dealership selling it and installing it that makes it the correct system. Some sellers are just lost. He even claims that Borla didn't manufacture the exhaust after I spoke with Borla today, as i love in Port Hueneme which is down the street from the Borla Factory.
