Just received my catch can today, it came with an air freshener! So stoked!

Also, how have you guys been able to take apart your catch can? Mine is so tight that I nearly almost bent the bracket trying to use it at leverage to get it apart, since another member mentioned doing that. The bracket is pretty soft metal, I have to say.

Is there an installation video or guide out for the updated style bracket?

Hi There,

As mentioned by users earlier in this thread the can does come fairly tight. This is so you can install it on your car right out of the box without having to tighten components. If you would like to check out some of the cool internals of the can, you were on target with using leverage to loosen the lid of the catch can. After you open it the first time, it should be easier in the future.

The installation guide for the new bracket was filmed and will be up on the website shortly. In the meantime you can reference photo 15 on our product page HERE, this should show where the version 2 bracket bolts on your Fiesta and the rest of the install is the same as the original video. Let me know if you are in need of any further assistance!

Finally installed my Mishimoto catch can today. If you didn't know any better, you'd think it's stock. The bracket was easy for me to install, I'm used to working in tight areas of Prius' and stuff so it wasn't hard at all.

Thanks for the kind words! The red hoses look great in your engine bay.

I installed mine just this past week. I thought at first I got the wrong one becasue the mount was changed but nothing was mentioned about that. After figuring that out I noticed the bolts are not long enough and mishimoto should include some longer hardware. With the taper lead on the end of the screws your only getting about a thread or two of bite on the nut wich is not exactaly ideal. Other than that fit good just had to trim front hose down about half inch. Here is a pic of the thread issue I mentioned http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums...0-CF56-46B1-8737-753C6035EF18_zpszyveumg5.png

Hey there, thanks for the kind words! Sorry to disappoint in the sticker department, check your PM and we'll see if we can get one out to you.

Hi there! We are aware of the threads not being long enough on euro spec fiestas, but this is the first instance that we are aware of on an american fiesta. We supply longer bolts for euro fiesta kits to solve this, you are welcome to contact our customer service team to obtain those. They are available from 9am to 5pm EST at 1877GOMISHI. Please let me know if you need any further assistance with this.

I hear alot of people ask when a "good time" to get an OCC is. Well, installed mine at 500 miles. Heres what i just pulled out of my Mishimoto OCC at 3000 miles.

Do yourself a favor and buy one.

Great advice! A catch can goes a long was as far as preventative maintenance.

Catch can system looks great. Is it serviceable, unscrewing the bottom of the can with the headlight still in the car? It looks like a tight fit.

You can unscrew it with out taking the headlight out however like you said it is tight getting it out. I've done it this way a couple of times but don't like doing it this way cause a I almost spilled the can on belts that are close by. Removing the headlight is fairly easy once you get the hang of it

Yeah, the headlights aren't terrible to remove. We've had to do it several times diagnosing aftermarket LED headlights going out. Just wondering if that puts wear/tear on the big plastic bulb on the headlight that mounts to the car.

I have noticed the headlight does come out easier than the first time but seems solid in the white looking bulb the headlight attaches to

Thanks for the input guys! Yes it is possible to unscrew the can in its location, depending on how well you can work in tight spots. If not, there are many other ways to get the catch can out (including the headlight as suggested) and of course you can opt in for our drain kit which makes draining much more simple.

Hello, is it possible to get the two Hoses separately?! [confused]
Unfortunately, we do not sell individual components of these kits separately. However, if you already have a Mishimoto kit and need replacement hoses, you can contact our customer service team at support@mishimoto.com for warranty replacement.
