Does this just unscrew the bottom section of the can for emptying?
The whole bottom half of the can unscrews for emptying or cleaning. There is also a threaded port on the bottom of the can, so you could drain it that way, with the proper fitting.
That's what I thought I saw. Definitely looks like the easiest design for maintenance, especially for someone with limited space.
You got it! We deigned the can for ease of install and maintenance and chose a location where you are able to just unscrew the bottom of the can or have easy access for the drain kit.
Thanks for lookin out for us!

Nice! Love the location and hoses for us with the 2JR intake. I may have to pick this up with the red hoses:)
mishimoto can you confirm the drain kit that fits is MMBCC-DRAIN-02?
Thats the one! HERE is the link too

Thanks Boostbumps!

Just put my order in (first mod) and I can see this already being a slippery slope!
Thanks for the reply Boostbumps and thanks for the order Mr Franchise! We appreciate your support.

Thanks, I like the ease of access! Sloped driveway limits my ability to get under the car, so this is perfect.

Unfortunately it does not include customs clearance.

Is the dual catch can still in the works?
At this point we are just presenting the single can option due to how the cans performed in initial testing. We have had a few requests for the CCV side can and did find a small amount of debris in our initial tests so we feel that it is worth a second look. However, there are a few other Fiesta ST products that are we feel higher priority so we will be working on getting those to you first. I will make sure to keep you in the loop as far as development and testing for this can as well as the possibility for another.

Love the custom hose design. Very polished looking kit.
One thing I'm curious about is why you've omitted using a check valve when other companies think they're necessary.
As far as including a check valve in our kit, we feel that the stock PCV unit functions sufficiently on its own. I have heard that some prefer to run a check valve, which you can still incorporate into our hoses if you wish (they measure 15mm inside diameter). Let me know if I can assist with anything else!

It definitely is. Next should be a RMM!
Thanks for the kind words! At this time it is not on our immediate list to do for the Fiesta ST but we will definitely take note that you guys want to see one!

Ordered! I'm already nearing 30k miles, so I like the idea of helping engine longevity.
Absolutely, we feel that using a catch can is an essential modification for these motors as far as preventative maintenance to keep your engine running like new for longer.

Thanks!

Sara, sorry for the confusion, was meaning Mr Franchise should look into a RMM as his next mod. It seems like Mishimoto's specialty is cooling and oil systems, which is a great addition to our available mods!

Whoops! Still the RMM seems like a great idea in general. Also, as you will find out shortly, we offer much more than just cooling components. Stay tuned for more Fiesta ST developments!

Just placed the order for mine with blue hoses! Cant wait!
Thanks for the order, we appreciate your support!

Is there a date set for when the pre sale price ends?

Also can you ship to Canada USPS as UPS can be rather unfriendly to us Canadians in terms of brokerage fees
Unfortunately no we can not ship USPS however, we do have an arrangement with UPS to provide discounted duty rates to our Canadian customers already set up through our checkout.

At this time there is no concrete date for the pre-sale to end (as of now it is late august). We will have a solid date once we get closer and I will make sure to update you guys as soon as I know.

Pre-sale ends when they start shipping.
Hey someone reads my posts! [thumb]
Thanks Stig!

I'd love to have one of these before heading out to STFest, but I don't think you guys will have them released in time.

mishimoto couple of questions I have been meaning to ask.
1- Does bracket and mounting location support your larger Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can? Form the picture it seems the top plate could make to fit.
2- If so would it be possible to create another kit (the hose set and right angle barbs for the Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can) for those that want a larger capacity?
