When buying anything of value walk in knowing more than the sales guy. He had no clue until I got the parts manager and listed all the Ford Racing parts number and he was finding them on their system. So in goes CBE, RMM, MP215 and black rims.

Finally got around to installing some oil monitoring gauges. I had many false starts with this as I wanted the gauges in the small cubby hole. I tried 2" ones but they were too deep. The equus 1 1/2" fit perfectly. I cute the cubby out and installed the bracket from the back with liberal use of JB weld. I replaced the incandescent light with LED back light (much bright and nicer, picture does not do them justice). I fished the hose through the sound symposer tube (pretty easy). The kit have just enough tubing, the water temp sensor was too big for the sandwich plate so I will order their electric version. Don't really need the volt but meh why not. The main goal is to have a true oil temp and pressure monitor, especially in winter. Over all I am happy.

What is the part number on the gauge pod bracket? With 94 octane apparently going the way of the dinosaur around here I am considering going with meth injection but I need somewhere to put the gauge...

Super clean, well done.

Quickly checked their site and I do not see them selling the bracket only. Maybe Auto meter, but remember this is for 1.5" (1 1/2") 38.1mm) gauges. 2" would not fit without cutting more of the dash. They do have 2" brackets. The gauge you pick would be the limiting factor.

1.5" gauges it will be! Thanks for the info - but just to confirm you found these all in a kit? If so, do you have a link for it?

And an FYI - I just confirmed with CoolingMist that their controller gauges are 1 1/8" and so I imagine they would work well in this gauge pod. If you want to ever go with methanol!

Can you fire me a link I'm looking to get another gauge as volt is useless for me.

Ewwww..... it's chrome!!!

Ha! I'll probably pick up the 3 pack of gauges and bracket you did and then integrate the CoolingMist gauge. Might be next year though... This Sprinter is leaving my wallet rather light.
There is this thing called paint. LOL

Hey CanadianGuy, I've got a question. I'm not fully sold on performance parts quite yet, but would like to personalize the car a bit similar to what you're doing. I'd like to paint the engine cover but I'm not sure what paint to use? I'm thinking a high temp like you'd use for brake callipers, but I'd like it to be a gel like look similar to the ST and Ford emblems on the car. Can you point me into a direction for what I should look for?

Use plastidip. That is what I will be using this summer. Stay tuned for what is up next.

TBH the cover doesn't get that hot, it's still touchable after hard driving. You don't need any special high temp stuff.

Made some new front brackets for the rally armor flap out of 0.125" high strength aluminum. Made them bigger for more strength but not required. I may paint them in the future but not required IMO. Also added the trim around the shifter. 3D print in red. Nice fit.

That shifter border looks swell....did you print it yourself and can I buy one from you?
Nah. For $15 what he said: PS did not pay the 0.80 for rush and still got it in 2 weeks.

You do need to add your own tape. I have not yet as I will open it up again and dont want to damage it. But is ti not moving neither so maybe tape is not required.
