We do. I spoke with the project manager handling this radiator today regarding our time-line and progress. There was a slight alteration needed to the fan shroud design, which set our completion date back a touch. We are now expecting to ship out pre-sale orders right around the end of March. In addition to the shroud adjustment, we are also re-designing our packaging to be more robust for this particular radiator/shroud combo.

Sorry for the inconvenience guys. We are working as quickly as we can to knock out our first batch.

-John
Hah. Well, while my track day plans for 2016 do kind of hinge on getting all my winter fixes done AND I am waiting on the radiator/shroud to get this all done at the same time, I MUCH rather only do this once, so any improvements/adjustments you make BEFORE we get the thing are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for being understanding regarding the delays! Updates will be more frequent as we near the ship date.

Does this mean the pre order is extended ? Also, what size adapter did you guys use to run the gauge on your vehicle (I see it in one of the photos in the thread) ? I would like to purchase one of this with my potential radiator pre order.

Yes, our discounted pre-sale rate will extend until we ship our first batch of units. We are using a 28mm water temperature sensor adapter for these hoses.

Thanks

How's that March 22 ship date looking? I've scheduled a little pile of installs and track prep to happen the week of April 11 -- pending arrival of your big radiator package here.

We are still on track to ship our pre-sale orders out before the end of this month. You should have no issues scheduling a track prep the third week of April.

Thanks

Can't come quick enough. Was at Texas World Speedway, the weather was mildly warm - mid 70s. For those who are unfamiliar- this is a 2.9 mile track near College Station in TX, which has 15 turns with two long front and back straights. By the time I'd get to the end of the front straight (about 110 mph), the temp is 'all the way up' and the car had started with the power management. That, by the way, with the heater on. I didn't run the Accessport, so, don't know how high it got. But, now I am wondering if 10 or so degrees of improvement over the stock unit is going to be sufficient - mind you, I have preordered Mishi's gadget. Would an oil cooler do anything? My 993, being an air-cooled car, never showed any signs of overheating at TWS. Dang.

Sounds like similar results to most folks pushing their ST at the track, although those ambient temperatures are rather low to cause such issues. Keep in mind the 10 degree drop we saw was during steady-state cruising. It is very possible this temperature difference will be a bit larger during situations with better airflow (higher speeds) and greater drive train stress. An oil cooler will also aid in reducing coolant temperatures, although probably not as significant as the radiator. These fluid work together to cool the engine, so reducing both temperatures is definitely a way to work against this issue facing the Fiesta. A few folks have reported very positive results in terms of reducing limp mode with just the oil cooler in place, while others continue to have issues. There are many factors in this equation. I'd recommend installing the radiator first to evaluate temperatures. Then you can determine if you are pleased with the oil/coolant temperatures prior to bolting on another heat exchanger.

Thanks
-John

I pre-ordered my radiator and coolant Temp sensor adapter today. Thank you again mishimoto for the info on the coolant temp sensor adapter size.

I also joined Team Mishi today. I can't wait to post pics of my installed radiator with my oil cooler, tubular crash bar and DHM race intercooler.

I have a track day scheduled for April 11th, any idea if you'll be able to get it out to me before then? I am 95% positive that I was the 1st on your preorder list. I preordered it the second you posted up the presale link back in December. Any options for expedited shipping date gets closer to April 11th?

Thanks,
Jose

I am just curious as to if these are going to ship on the 22nd. If they do I will have a serious mountain of parts to install for a car shown the weekend of the 17th of april.

Thanks guys. We are on track to have all components in our warehouse by 3/28 for final packaging. I imagine we will have our pre-sale orders shipped out by the end of next week.

Thanks for the update. It looks like I'm doing my front end tear down twice. I was really counting on the projected ship date was going to be the actual ship date.

I'll be in a vendor booth at said show. So I'll just elect to wait to install my radiator till after my show.

Dang another 6 days. I guess I'm just going to stop counting on this thing to ship. I'll just wait for it to surprise me one day in the mail. Lol I have a feeling I won't have it by my April track day.
I've ordered so many mishimoto parts, kinda wish I wouldn't have.

LOL. It's not like any of us are ANXIOUS to get this thing. Hah. What's funny is that I keep piling up additional little items to go into the car at the same time. So, please, for @#$%'s sake, get this @#$% thing out the door by the end of next week -- before I buy any more bits. Car goes to the shop on 4/11 for some personality adjustments (hinging on the radiator's arrival).

No biggy here. I work at a car dealership I know how parts delays work.

On a positive note I got shipping information on my radiator today. I have a feeling mishimoto knocked this out of the park and got the order shipped a bit earlier than anticipated.

Just got notification of shipment! Thanks, John and all at Mishimoto. Looking forward to get this, the oil cooler, and my little pile of other odds-and-ends implemented -- and the car track prepped for a few upcoming events. AND THEN: Seeing how it all plays together in my 20 minute sessions. Hah. Keeping fingers crossed this will be enough to prevent me from limping back to the paddock overheated. Not something I've experienced in my prior car and not something I want to experience in this one.

Woohoo!
