Looking forward to the pre-sale discount!

A companion oil cooler would be nice at the same time for folks tracking this car in HDPEs and such. I suspect I'm not the only one that would like to roll that all up into one winter project (well, one winter project for my car at the installing shop).

Also: I've got the MP 215 mountune intake hardware. Have you taken a look at whether there will be any clearance issues with that? It's very close to the stock assembly, but might be a little wider at it's base.

Nice! If it'll fit with my spacer, I'm in. Thanks for the quick response.
No problem!

We have not tested that particular intake but we are familiar with it and there shouldn't be any interference considering its close to stock fitment. As for an oil cooler, we are currently in the process of development with that as well. You can check it out HERE. We should be releasing a variety of useful products to you guys in the near future!

Mishimoto - If time permits, please test temps utilizing the coolant that you guys sell with your new radiator on the FiST. I am very curious to see what difference a special coolant makes while in a good cooling system, and if there is a noticeable cooling difference then you should definitely offer up a package for radiator plus your coolant.

Thank you,

Ryan

Thanks for the interest guys!

Nothing at the moment! We were performing some road testing on one of our prototype units yesterday. We should have a summary of the results soon!

Very soon! We are testing a few different fan/radiator combinations at the moment. We should have an update early next week with our findings.

Thanks for the interest!

How about upgraded fans for the stock radiator? Is that in the works as well?

Yes, we have been experimenting with different fan setups. Our goal is to provide a bulletproof cooling package for you guys. Should have some pretty awesome details to post next week.

Thanks

Ahem. Tapping toe. LOL. J/K. This is a winter mod for me (with the already-ordered oil cooler), but I think there are a fair number of us anxious to see how things are going.

Sorry about the delays guys! We've been running multiple tests which have included some data collection with the thermostat removed. This helps us eliminate variables which will impact efficiency testing. As you can imagine, this took quite a bit of time. I am hoping to have some data for you this week, stick with me!

mishimoto is the first company I have ever seen who has a paid section on the forum but doesn't use it.

Hello mishimoto, from seeing the stock shroud, it looks alot restrictive, is it a good mod to remove it and only put the stock fan /aftermarket fan or you guys developing a better shroud?

Thanks for the input Felopr! The stock shroud is a unique piece. it features shrouding to aid in pulling airflow through the core when not in motion. Additionally, it also features move-able flaps which open at speed to allow more air pass through the radiator core. I would not call it a poor design, but we can certainly find ways to improve performance during at-speed driving by opening up more portions for airflow. This is one of the potential ideas we have been testing with our larger radiator. More details on this will be contained within our next project update!

Thanks!
-John
