Why not compare both? "Because FWD has bad traction." Stop side-stepping. You want to prove its acceleration and power? Become a better driver and compare both.

Not everyone wants to launch the ever living shit out of a car just to prove a point or obtain a timeslip. Been there, done that, and it's just not worth it. And it's not a matter of being a "better driver" when you're racing a FWD car on street tires and 300+ ft-lbs of torque...there are traction limitations and regardless of driving skill, you can only launch these things so hard before stickier tires and drivetrain upgrades are needed...and on a platform like this, that's just dumb.
I'll take mine to the track to have fun, but I'm not going to turn it into a track car. This is an inexpensive, fun car and I didn't buy it to turn it into a money pit. At the end of the day, I'm still driving a Fiesta and it's just hard for me to justify sinking a ton of money into it.
And since ET is so important...where are your time slips? I mean, you should be well into the 11s at your power level. If not, you must be a pretty lousy driver.
Oh wait, that's right...you do 1/2 mile events. Have you ever seen anyone launch hard at a half mile event? Nope, but I guess since that's the case and these cars make up for it on the top end instead of cutting crazy 60' times, they must not be very powerful.
I went mid 11s in a 114 trap car with a 1.5 60'. That car was built to launch hard. I also went mid 11s in a 125 trap car on street tires. Which would do you think was more powerful?
