After receiving many messages about my inquiries... Russ, would you be willing to pass down this duty to someone who has more free time and can keep the list up to date? With everyone getting faster, we would all like to keep track of what everyone has ran. Any Admins want to chip in? I would think a sticky as such would want to be updated.
This is by no means a way to start an argument, simply trying to keep the community up to date and healthy.

Curious... Are any of the X37 guys gonna hit the 1/4 mile and prove they're fast?

Johnny did 13.3 @109 (iirc) on e30/meth with street tires. If he had slicks he would probably be high 12's. That's probably the fastest x37 car right now.

Edit: yep, I remembered correctly. It's right here on Adams website

No disrespect to Johnny, I like him. However, the stock turbo record is 13.3 @ 102 on slicks. Hopefully, someone else (or Johnny) will throw some slicks on.

I datalog on the same road and do 4th gear pulls. with stock turbo and same bolt-ons using cobb stage 3 ots tune from 2300 rpms to 6500 rpms it took me 17.2 seconds. with x37 and still revising tunes it takes me 15.1 seconds. id say that's quite an improvement.

x37 pulls are being done in 100f ambient temps. the pulls with the stock turbo were 60f and lower ambient temps.

Oh wow. Id say that's a really good improvement. Nothing mind blowing but still. And the stock turbo was set up for drag on slicks yadda yadda.

13.3 is the fastest time on stock turbo......

Let's not forget I went 13.3 on $76 tires after Dyno-ing at 233whp on a dynojet 2 nights before on the cyborg and E30 without meth on small panda intercooler and tuning it myself... I added 50-55whp to my V-dyno's I was getting at the time.

I also broke an axle that night and haven't been back, lol

And the truth comes out! I'd like to see someone with this setup hit the quarter with some better tire!

I will be hitting the track soon. I have decent enough tires I can launch good. Sport comp 2's 8 inch wide. My cyrborg should be putting near 260 on the dyno. so well see. Full bolt on's tial Q BOV on upgraded hot side, DHM intercooler. light weight 15 inch rims.

I find it silly people are so obsessed with 1/4 mile times on a FWD car. FWD 1/4 mile times come down to the driver more than anything.

The fact I can do a 4th gear pull 2.1 seconds faster with the x37 compared to stock is great, imo. In racing, 2.1 seconds is a a hell of a lot. Next time I am out on track on VIR full I expect to drop my lap time by a huge margin. I may even have to lift in the climbing esses!

Pretty much all racing comes down to the driver... But 1/4 mile can tell a story about power and set ups as well. For instance, I did 13.4 @ 107 with a 2.3 60' on street tires. The car was about 290whp on 93 oct, no aux, no meth. X37 is good for the price, though.

I wanted to know the same but when the thread got "cleaned up" my comment was deleted.

Im not intrested in arguing nor do i know much of this turbo/compressor stuff, im just really intrested in what it traps in 1/4. That guy who ran 13.3 stock turbo in the 1/4 is damn fast even if it was gutted and ethanol tuned, do the same damn thing with an x37 fiesta. Also how long do these hybrid turbos last? The life expectancy must go down since your making more power on the stock housing, right?

I can't believe you guys are actually comparing ETs between front wheel drive cars on street tires. Trap speeds are where it's at. IIRC johnnyaf87 trapped 109 in the 1/4 and I don't see anyone on the stock turbo touching that. Someone over in the UK running the X37 trapped 110 as well.

Why not compare both? "Because FWD has bad traction." Stop side-stepping. You want to prove its acceleration and power? Become a better driver and compare both.
