I have about 19,000 miles on my completely stock 2016.

I drove from Chicago to Deals Gap and back (about 1,800 miles all together) and averaged 33mpg. My best tank hit 34mpg.

The worst my computer "average" sunk to was about 19mpg in the mountains when I was driving VERY hard.

Overall, my average lifetime mpg is 31.9. All above measurements were calculated based on milage and fuel quantities pumped unless otherwise noted.

My best complete tank mpg thus far was 36.7 mpg I drove 175 miles each way to Charlotte NC to watch my terrible 49ers (I know they suck....) Play the panthers earlier in the season and averaged 36.7 and the trip took most of the tank I beleive the ecu was registering 87 miles to e when I got back....this was all highway EXCEPT before and after the game where I had to fight through an hour of traffic each time that was basically barely moving and backed up (the stadium is just off the interstate). I feel this couple hours of very backed up traffic dropped my mpg significantly and had the entire trip been on the highway it would have been closer to 40 mpg. I'm not stock I'm running livernois motorsports 93 tune muffler and res delete k&n drop in filter as well as around 100 lbs of weight reduction from my already lightest optioned st....25 of tbose coming from my lightweight 15 inch wheel/tire setup and I also am running royal purple full synthetic race oil which I beleive all these things do a small part on helping mpg and I beleive they all add up in the end. A full intake from cpe as well as the big mouth r air and depo intercooler and charge pipes as well as their catless downpipe I beleive all these things could contribute to slightly better mpg as well. On shorter syretches of highway like 125 mile trip I was able to knock down 40+ and I beleive I could maintain that for an entire tank if I ever used an entire tank on straight highway. The key is set cruise on 70 if not lower....once you go to 75+ mph falls drastically on this car...just a word of advice....

Wow 19 mpg on the gauge? My car used to read in the 26-27 range on there when new now after my mods and 14k+ miles it's around 30.3 last I checked and stays between 30-31

No idea how any of you guys are getting these numbers...

I'm on Stratified V2 tune, 95% city driving, 25-30 min each way...
Maybe boost with a 4000-5000rpm pull once or twice per commute.

11.2L/100km aka 21mpg.

WTF??

From full tank, I basically hit about 350-375km before my fuel light goes on.

21 mpg is pretty low. Is it one of the crackle Tunes or a normal one and what kind of oil are you running?

My lifetime MPG, I track about 75% of my fill ups through fuelly so there are a few fill ups missing but over all not bad. My driving has been quite a mix of city, highway and twistie hunting up in the mountains.

Am I crazy? I have about 350 miles on my clock now and into my second tank and averaging 19/20mph, got the car with 5 miles on the clock so it's pretty much all me

I chalked the first one up to a) being really excited about getting my ST and b) break in? maybe?

but I'm not seeing anything close to 30 yet. Could the dealer have put 87 in it? would that have been an issue? I put 93 when I refueled.

The stratified v2 tune. The one before they released the crackle version.
Using mobil1 5w30. Tire psi 38F / 36R (I'm not on oem wheels though).

I'm at about 27mpg over the 5100 miles I've owned the car. Best tank was 31.4, worst was around 24 (no shock here, that was very early in ownership when I was having a lot more fun with boost).

The attached picture is for 4879 miles worth of driving and isn't including the current tank, which is another 250 miles or so and the trip computer is saying 29.5, so it's probably an actual mpg of 28ish on this tank.

The app is aCar Pro, very neat little app that allows you to track fillips, maintenance, trip costs, etc. I like it better than I did Fuelly, but like the community behind Fuelly more.

I'm gonna switch my oil back to 5w20 in a few weeks. Going to see if that'll make a difference. Do you guys do a lot of highway driving?

Not unless I have to. Most of my trips are 13.5 miles to/from work, mostly back roads with hills, about 30% town and 70% back roads. I did notice that if you keep it between 50 and 55 the mileage will go up significantly, usual fillups report back at 32-33 even with a stage 1.

With 1700 miles on my FiST, I am getting 30.2 MPG so far, based on the odometer and how much gas I pumped in.
I reset the trip computer with each fill up, and it seems to show about 1/2 MPG more than I'm actually getting.
I'm not seeing much difference in MPG with Premium fuel

I have not checked the odometer

There is a decent number of Fiesta ST's reporting in Fuelly.
ST's are reporting about 30MPG
Were Fiesta SE drivers report 5 MPG better
Since the differences in EPA ratings aren't that much,
I'm guessing the ST drivers are more aggressive drivers, thus get lower MPG (duh)

Brutal. My fuel light went on so I went to the gas station.

Liters filled up: 10.3 gal
Tripometer: 196.25 mi
Avg km: 13.75 mi

MPG is even crappier during winter time...

Curious what people's avg speed are. I'm starting to think my MPG is taking a big hit cause I only drive within the city and barely ever on the highway.

Wow thats only 19MPG. But if you are always in stop and go traffic,
Short trips, are very detrimental to MPG, especially in cold weather,
If there is barely enough time to get the engine up to temp.

My trips are about 25 mins, 6.25 mi. Mon-Fri. lol
Weekends vary since it all depends what I do and where I go.

But I idle until my AP shows my oil temps are at 68?F. (No reason for that specific number, it's just what I do)
Sometimes this can take as long as 5 mins in the cold. Or if I'm scraping frost off, I can end up idling until my car's like 86?F by the time I'm done.
Maybe all the idling is wasting a lot of fuel... although it seems excessive still.

I get 29.5 combined. With mostly spirited city driving. Fill up once a week with 93 and costs anywhere from $22-26. I am very surprised how close it is to the gas milage rating!
