Don't forget the meth. I have two aem 250 cc nozzles, one at the fmic outlet and one before the t body. Russ is the man!

And I haven't opened the grill yet...

Ahhhhh !!!! I totally did forget the meth. Your running 100%, right? Its gotta be making some super cereal power for that turbo at elevation... If you come down off the mountain, its gonna feel like a space shuttle with extra atmosphere pressure !! Lol

If you have a AEM kit, twist that tiny hex on the top of it two full turns clock wise and put 100% meth in the tank ;)

What's awesome about the intercooler is that charge air temps go down at WOT.
In the case of the plot posted above, the charge temps are dropping below ambient due to the meth, but the cooler typically keeps them close to dead level with ambient.

Anyone with a stock turbo and pro-tune have one and datalogs?

Its such a scary thought to think the bottom cooler in the pic is an upgraded one, and the race cooler just dwarfs it.

Right! I can't wait to compare it to my j line and see how much bigger it really is. I cannot say enough about DHM 's customer service. Russ went so far as to add custom tabs and brackets to my bumper bar to mount my mishimoto oil cooler. I seriously feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. Patiently waiting for my stack of boxes from DHM to show up at my door.

DHM, Russ, best products for the money I have ever bought for any car and I have modded many.

The J-line is a very heavy IC, other ICs weight less...the DHM Race IC and bumper beam only weigh 4lbs more than the stock IC and beam!

Drag racers like weight up front, road racers, autocrossers, canyon carvers, not so much.

is it an option to get a BOV flange on the IC? I PM'd you, Russ.
Russ, apologies for the noob question, but what application does this custom flange option benefit and what is the advantage as opposed to not having a flange there? I guess I always thought BOVs and IWGs were usually installed closer to the turbo side rather than the intercooler side. Again, I dont know much so please keep the flames at minimum.

it's on the hot side of the intercooler so it's essentially the same as being right after the turbo outlet. not a big deal. I only did it because I'm trying to pick up as many big turbo supporting mods as I can before I actually go big turbo.

If you're standing in front of the car looking at the intercooler your BOV is on the left?

nope, I don't have my IC yet, Russ has been busy lately.

I was mistaken, it is indeed on the cold side

Regardless I don't think it's a huge deal.

mhm. and I figured Russ wouldn't have an issue with just selling me a charge pipe without the flange when that time comes. I got my Tial custom coated :)

i just wanted to confirm to everyone that has a MAP hard charge pipe kit that it will not fit with DHM race intercooler, it doesn't have enough flex in it to make it fit. i was thinking about cutting it apart and use couplers to give it more flex but then i was scared of having to many connections and having them come apart so i decided to just use oem hose for now but i was thinking about getting mountune ones but their really expensive for just silicone.
