This is one of our first bigger kits we are bringing to the Fiesta ST market.
The custom Chromoly crash bars are lighter than stock allowing more room for this intercooler and a large increase to the air stream for intercooler and radiator. This crash bar will retain the horns and all the OEM wire harness clips. This is made out of high quality chromoly tubing just like tubing used in some of the strongest roll cages. It will come powder coated in a gloss back. Being that most will be built to order a customer color should be just a Email or PM away!
This Intercooler has over 50% more frontal area for cooling our hot outlet temps for our smaller turbos when they are pumping out higher boost pressures. We are looking for large drops of 10-20deg over other aftermarket intercoolers and 20-30deg from stock. When road racing, auto cross, drag racing, or hot days on the street having enough intercooler to stock from "heat soak" or having enough intercooler to drop temps fast or at lower speeds is important. An increase of frontal area is the best way to stop all these things from affecting your intake manifold inlet temps. This intercooler features a 24"x10.5"x3.5" core. The end tanks will feature a radius inlet to add in air flow also have a divider to add in even flow of the upper and lower part of the intercooler. Waterjet cut end tanks and billet 6061 hose ends for the highest grip and clamping force for your couplers!
I will have more updates to come. I will have full data logs compared to stock. I wanted to get this post started as we are still working on finishing these up. We have two customers getting kits out of the first batch. Please contact me if you are interested.
