I've checked with vendor and never heard back from them. Try McRib on the over forum as I think it was developed off his car.

I paid $900 for the Wilwood front BBK with plain rotors from 2J Racing. Not sure about the rear, but have been told it costs about as much as the front because the rear hubs have to be replaced as well.

Hope that helps!
This kit complete with rotors was supposed to sell for less than half the cost of Wilwood.

McRib is using Wilwood.

This complete set was developed and all testing was done on my car and is still on it today.
I know the parts are made.
All I can do is give them a call/text.

I believe that they do.

However some rims are different than others.
Based on the amount of clearance in the 17s I have, they should fit most 16s.
I just don't have any 16s to test them.
I may be looking into this more closely when my next set of tires come due.

Dave
If I can confirm these fit under my Rota Grid's...it's a done deal!

So did we ever get an update on these. Are they planing to sell kits to the FIST community? I would be interested if pricing is right. I would prefer sloted rotors vs drilled.

The rotors are available any way you want, Plane, slotted. drilled, dimpled, any combination, or you can supply your own.

I just spoke with Mark he informed me that he has been receiving and responding to all the emails.
He had to change to different machine shop to finish some of the parts.
It is funny how even the smallest things rely on so many vendors to bring all of the parts together.

I was told that he hopes to have the kits ready to ship in two weeks.

Any chance of a group buy at a discount price? Maybe become a vendor on the site

WE have discussed these things.
Mark is very fair with prices so I am sure he will work things out.
Yes he is planning on becoming a vendor on a limited biases.

Dave, have you heard back from Mark? He emailed me late July saying he'll have them ready in a couple weeks (been over a month). Did he abandon the project?

No, I just saw him a week ago and he told me he has been super busy at work.
I suggest that you keep sending him emails.

I have been. I'm sure he's sick of my email traffic too! HA! But if you do plan on changing your front brakes to something else let me buy these from you... :)

Im starting to think this kit wasnt ment for production. Im sure we shall see other options from vendors soon.

Would not seem that hard to mill brackets to relocate calipers to fit Stoptech aerorotors one size larger than stock, plus might be lighter. I would try that kit for fronts and rears both.

That would happen when I sell the car.

I just sent him a text so we will see what he says.
This kit does take a lot of machining of parts.
It is now still racing season so besides his regular job he is always working on their racecar.

It is too bad because everything has been worked out and he has all of the part vendors.

It is a little more involved than that.

The caliper blocks need to move the calipers out far enough for all the hardware and slides to clear.
That determines the minimum diameter of the rotor.
Then you need to find a rotor of the min size or larger, custom rotors cost too much.
Now that we have the proper size rotor it needs to be centered correctly and drilled to fit the hubs.

All of the parts need to be machined at a minimum cost otherwise the kit price is too high.
In addition a very low profit margin is expected so as also to provide a good quality but low cost kit.
This is all being done by a one man shop that builds and maintains a privateer racecar.

All of the setup work is now done, so it is now just the time and money to bring it all together.

Oddly enough I was just checking Stoptech rotors. They make an aerorotor 282 mm OD and 25 mm wide, takes 50 mm pad width. If the aluminum hats would fit our hubs, this might be another (lighter) option.

Lighter than OE size, that would be good but OE is 278mm x 23mm, I hope it works for you.

This thread however is about a BIGGER brake set that uses a 324mm rotor, there is a big difference in stopping force.

I looked through the link and this thread, and maybeI missed it, but what is the additional width added to the track since there's a spacer/plate used?

It is VERY little, it is primarily a hub centric.
