I live in the Pacific Northwest which is wet a lot of the time. So as such I want to buy some all-weather style mats that will fit well and protect from water and dirt/mud.

I noticed Ford makes all-weather mats which look pretty good and say "Fiesta ST" with a red logo. Exactly the same as the carpet mats but a durable rubber. Fit would be perfect and the cost is $99.

However, WeatherTech also makes a kit of their "FloorLiner" which is contoured to the entire floorboard on the front driver and passenger side. Allowing protection for the sides of the carpet as well as the floor itself. I like the idea of this but they are $$$ at $187 for the set. And does it even fit the ST model? Not sure as WeatherTech doesn't specify.

I have both sets. The factory look more "sporty" but the weathertech mats offer way more protection. I use the weathertechs daily and sway the factor ones in for shows and meets.

I agree. You can buy the WT for the front only then use something else for the rear to save some$$. I found some Ford ones on this forum for the rear. The WT protect much better. The stock'rug' ones are fine for summer.

I had the WeatherTech mats that I swapped for the WeatherTech Floor Liners. (I'm the Pacific Northwest also) They are a perfect fit, great protection.. leaves, dirt and gravel gets under the edges of the smaller mats that seem a similar size to the Ford logo(ed) ones.

I got my WT off Amazon from independent seller for dirt cheap. Love them. They fit perfect and catch all the crap. I bought them weeks before I even took delivery of the car.

I live in Florida, so my main concern is mostly water and some occasional dirt. That being said, I got the Ford mats. I like them, but I think the WT would be better if I lived in an area with lots of snow and gravel.

The thing about them vs the WT mats is that the ford mats don't protect the spot where the dead pedal would be. So do keep that in mind.

Neither, go for Weatherbeaters by Huskyliner. Weather techs look pretty but their lips aren't high enough IMO. All of my cars have Weatherbeaters. My wife's Flex Ecoboost is 5 and I have 3 small kids and a dog and the carpet still looks new.
