4x108 to 4x100 wheel adaptor

Hey everyone,

I know the FiST bolt pattern is 4x108 and I am currently looking for some good wheels for my ShadowBeaST when she finally hits land. I have come across with a set of OZ with bolt pattern 4x100 for ?200. My question is....

Has or are anyone currently using a bolt pattern adaptor?

Any brand recommendation?

What are your rim/tire setup?

Any rubbing issues?

Thanks in advance!

Most I've seen online are 1" thick. That will push most wheels way past the +33mm offset for "full flush", even if you found some +50 offset wheels.

--> Edit <-- Sorry, I just said the same thing that you did. No more pre-coffee posts for me!

You've got the math backwards. A spacer reduces positive offset. An ET45 wheel with a 10mm spacer becomes an ET35. To get to an effective ET33 with a 25mm spacer/adaptor (1") you'd have to start with ET58 wheels.

Thanks for the advice. I found these great deals that I think will look great. Perfect bolt patterns and I'll be picking it up in a few days. Not bad for the price with little use.

ET16? They're for some sort of frenchy car. You'll have to have the inside flange of the wheels milled down about 17mm to make them fit (if they have the meat) and get a set of center bore hub adaptors. If you decide to go this route I might know a shop in Wittlich (I'm assuming that you're in Rheinland-Pfalz) that can machine the wheels for you, or at least tell you if it's possible.

Scratch that - he said that as soon as you machine on a T?V wheel it loses its certification and is illegal for road use unless you get an official exception which requires ?500 and a certification from a professional engineer saying that your wheel won't kill anyone.

Find some with the right offset.

OK I'm a little confuse. This rim does not fit on the ST? I was only paying attention of the bolt pattern. Can you give me a link or explain why this will not fit

OK nvm. I just googled it and thoroughly reading it. Thanks for the advice guys. I may have to rethink about purchasing this. Shame it would look great on my FiST.

The first is 4x100 or 4x114, neither of which will fit your FiST without drilling. Also, search the web regarding multiple lug pattern wheels - they usually aren't very high quality.

The second is 4x108, ET 48, 17x7 with 215/40. Stock is ET 47.5, 17x7, 205/40, so I believe that those would work quite well. Good looking wheels, too.

I guess that's why OZed does not even bring those into the country in that (16x7) size, or at least Tire Rack does not? [dunno]
