In 2 weeks time I'll be adding Water / Methanol injection. Not sure if anyone has done this in the U.S but I'm pretty sure I'm the first in the U.K

Did you install the the Quaife or did you have a shop do it ? I am getting the parts together for my Quaife install. How does the car handle since you installed it compared to stock open Diff ??
Thanks

No, didn't fit it myself, all the work carried out on my car has been done by my chosen tuner / shop.
The diff was fitted about a month ago when the tempratures in the U.K were down to single figures and the roads were cold, wet and greasy, as were the tyres.
Running the diff' in those conditions helped a bit and i do mean "just a bit" It just meant that i spun both wheels.
Now it's warmed up to the mid teens and the roads are bone dry its made a massive difference, steering feel is greater when accelerating out of a corner, you can really put the power down midway thru a corner (even on the street) and it just grips.
My car is Revo stage 2 so it's putting out around 230 bhp and has shown 374NM on a dyno and as you know, with the small turbo that the car has, most of that torque comes in real early and aggressively. In the U.K the car is supplied with Bridgestone Potenza tyres which are ok but much better options are available. I'll be using Toyo 888's for track use.

It has more grip under straight line acceleration and thru corners and there's more feel thru the streering

Fantastic looking Fiesta! Adding water/methanol injection is becoming popular again and I'd like to see how it works on your set-up. When I was in US Air Force (many years ago) W/M injection was used on several aircraft (well known was the B-47 using W/M injection with its huge cloud of black smoke at take-off). In the late 1960's and early '70's kits were available for installation on your vehicle (fitted between the carburetor and manifold). I tried the system on a W30 Olds and it made a small improvement, but probably not worth the expense and maintenance required. Today, the ability to tune on our digitally based engine fuel injected and accompanying management system make it worth a try again.

Damn I wish revo would come out with a tune for us in the states. I remember when I did the revo tune on my '06 GTI and it made a huge difference. Wish we could get same [bigcry]

It's sounds like they are now.

Well the waiting is almost over, this time tomorrow I will have what is probably the only FiST in the UK, possibly Europe..... Possibly the world....LOL with WM injection.
I'll try to get some installation/build photos and will obviously add photos when it's all done, should take around 1/2 a day apparently.
